U2- How to Disarm a Nu-cu-lar, er Nuclear, Bomb.

Stinks that I'm going to be out of the country when they come to the Cities of Gemini in September!! I'm going to be missing both them and Coldplay!!!

Anyone in the Twin Cities heard of Golden Chariots of Mars? I work with one the guitarist and they're going to have a show on Aug 9 (Tues) at a club downtown. They're kind of alternative. If interested, PM me for more info.

I enjoyed the book as well. I couldn't put it down towards the end with all that was going on. It was excellent. I can't wait for the final book now and that'll be a few years down the road... sigh. I guess we'll be seeing Goblet this November and most likely Order of the Phoenix before the last one comes out, so that should whet our appetites.

SPOILERS below

I was not surprised that Dumbledore was killed as he was the only wizard Voldemort feared, so getting him out of the way would make it seem that victory for the dark forces was imminent.

But the whole Snape thing being good/bad... you despise him for hating Harry like he does and are trying to guess if he is as good as Dumbledore trusts. Though Dumbledore always seemed to be a step ahead of the game and knew that if Snape were ever approached about helping Voldemort's cause (and I'm sure Dumbledore knew that he would be a probable target) then he was to maintain the facade of being one of the Death Eaters at all costs, even if it meant killing Dumbledore. Perhaps that is why he is angry when Harry faces him? He's being not malicious, but angered that he had to kill the only man who believed he was good. Just my 2 knuts.

Perhaps this is the beginnings of Space Balls 2: The Prequel??

I think it'd be even cooler with a comm-chip of Piett and the crewman's exchange.
"Bounty hunters! We don't need that scum!"
"Yes, sir"

That's just me, though. I always got a kick out of that!

The clone pilot reminds me of the fire pilots who flew beside Grievous' ship in the atmosphere before it crashed.

I don't have access to any of those images, so I can't be too sure.

Here are some photos of the fire fighters from the official site's databank.

I have a question. Why go through the trouble of giving this character a backpack and weapon/extigisher for a Photo? I'm sure all that was ever planned for this character was cockpit shots.

Perhaps the FFs were shot inside Grevous' ship shooting foam at the heroes as the came out, shouting "Stop, Drop, and Roll!" I mean, it would be the 2nd publc service message of the PT with Obi's "Go home and rethink your life, druggie!"

I am kind of surprised we haven't seen this figure yet.

I concur. I think Cody had a more prominent role in this movie than half the figures that came out since 4/2. It's surprising that Hasbro didn't make him one of the original 56!

That is pretty low of someone to steal it from under Hasbro's noses. But if what the rep said was true, then I think it very stupid on Hasbro's part to show off the only prototype produced at a show for just that reason. I would hope they have the smarts to have a back-up on hand for LFL. That's just plain good business sense.
