Yeah, and the pack in figure actually looks fantastic!  I guess that is the first time they have actually made an ESB pilot uniform correctly?  Now they can repack a Luke head in place of Zev for the 3 3/4 line.

The snowspeeder mold retool is a nice addition as well. I just noticed that the flaps are now movable.

The snowspeeder itself seems unremarkable, but the the Snowspeeder pilot flightsuit looks like it's finally been nailed!  The facial likeness is good, too.  I only wish we could see the helmet in that shot.

But this figure should be the basis for any future Snowspeeder pilot Luke.  That's been a figure we should have had done right some time ago.

Articulation looks to be crap.  Swivel shoulders, no elbow articulation, can't tell if there's any knee articulation or not, etc.  Don't get me wrong--it's a great-looking sculpt, and it's not often that they've put this much work into a pack-in figure, but it would suck if they just plopped a Luke head on it and stuck it in the basic line, without reworking the arms, at the very least.

Looks nice, though.

Did the Rebellion gain control of cloning technology, travel to this galaxy, kidnap and clone John Kerry, and then fly back to the Battle of Hoth?  I mean, Riekkan was pretty similar to Kerry, and Zev looks like Kerry after putting on a bit of weight around the chin and cheeks.  :)

In all seriousness, I'll be picking this one up.  I gave my POTF2 Electronic Snowspeeder away a few months back, and with the opening wing flaps and the nice Zev figure, this one is a must buy for me.  I just hope Target actually stocks them as well as they have the SATS BP and the DOG figure.

I"ll be getting one for sure, but are the boots entirely accurate?  I thought all the pilots had those boots like Luke and the Rebel soldiers wore.

I'd like more articulation too if they ever put Luke in a snowspeeder outfit on the shelves for us.

But it is an OT vehicle so I am all in.  Probably get 2.

I love the snowspeeders.  It is cool and this one looks even better.  I really like the pilot.  I'll get two at least, if I can find them.

Put me down for one. I have yet to get a modern Snowspeeder, and this is just too good to pass up.

I just hope Target doesn't try to get more than $30 for it.

After looking at the figure for a little bit I realized it isn't a new sculpt at all. It's just a kitbash. Sure there are some new parts like the head and the arms, but that body and the legs belong to Dutch Vander. Which explains why the boots are innacurate, as they are just repainted grey. It appears the skirt is a seperately sculpted piece that fits in with the flight harness and may be glued down to the torso. The collar piece appears to have just been glued over the existing collar as well. That doesn't mean I don't like the figure. For a pack in this is very good.

I've got 3 POTF2 Snowspeeders, but I think I can find room for at leat one of these. :)
