Hey, just because people are poor doesn't mean they should have to play with Star Trek toys.  Send them off to to the Middle East.

Only in your dreams.  You sound exactly like you did last year and every time I go and look at the standings from last year, I can't find your name in the playoffs, even on the consolation side.  That's gotta sting.   :)

How did I sound the same as last year?  It was kind of hard to brag last year when I was losing left and right.  McGahee killed me - if I recall I lost 7 of my first 9 games despite having Warner, Forte, and R. Moss.   :-X

Of course, I've already hit my week #9 win total, so it's nothing but upside from here on out.   ;D

Nope. Just calling it like I see it.

Well, amen to that philosophy.   ;)  Out of curiosity, did you think the Vikes dominated the 49ers yesterday?

Anyone have big plans for the big Vikings/Packers showdown on Monday?  A buddy at work lucked out and won the office pool for 2 tickets.  (We still have to pay the $80, but at least we get to go).  I cannot wait to see Rodgers vs. Favre.

One Target in my neck of the woods put these on clearance back in July.  That's a long time back... now all the others in the area have done the same.

Nicklab, are you talking about wave 2 figures, or is there a wave 3 as well?

Despite everywhere being on clearance they are still sitting. That's pretty sad, I do not think you will see Trek toys in big box stores for a long time to come after the precedence this line set.

Yeah, I think the Targets around here are about to reduce the clearance to negative $1.50.  That's where they will pay you $1.50 per figure just to get them the heck out of the store.

I think what Justin is is whatever the opposite of a homer is towards the Vikings.

Okay, THAT doesn't even make sense.  Are you still drunk from the combined Pats/Vikes wins yesterday?

Did you watch the game?
I'll ask this again...did you watch the game Justin?

Yes, I did watch the game.

You also had excessive scores from Cutler and Mason to pad your score in the other direction -

Uh, look at the predicted scores for Aaron Rodgers and Cedric (gimme a break) Benson for excessive scores for padding.   ;)

See, every time I try to talk about you, you go back to talking about me.  Okay, I agree.  My team is rock solid.   :-*

That's obviously one of Tunghori's auctions.  I've ordered from him before - some of his stuff is okay, but some of it shows up with ben marks, missing paint, etc.  I think his figs come from an overseas factory and a lot of them are factory errors or figs that just didn't make the QC cut.  I have had good luck contacting him post auction and letting him know that I want his best quality paint jobs (he typically has bucketloads of each figure he's selling).

In awe?

Let's see.... lost Gore on first play of game; TO goes without a reception for the first time in 190 games (or so) and Shiancoe continues to suck.  Three guys put up basically zero and you only win by 20?  It was a good match, but I'm hardly devastated by the loss.  :-*

Don't be bitter - I'm just razzing you.   ;)  How many points would you like me to have won by?  Cripes, I do have the second highest behind Jay at this point.  You also had excessive scores from Cutler and Mason to pad your score in the other direction - makes me feel better about scoring with J. Knox this week.   ;D  I tell you what, you can have the projected points from Owens, Gore, and Shiancoe for this week.  Add those up and ...whoops you still lose.  Better luck next week Brent (and I seriously hope Gore is not out for long - ouch.)

The Vikings and Patriots both won yet it was still a bad day because my dream of back to back no win seasons for the Lions is over.

And I love that JediJman called you a homer Scott. Cause he isn't one for the Pack?  :-\

Hey, I will be the first to admit that the Packers got outplayed by the Bungles last week.  Rodgers was off, the receivers couldn't catch anything, and the defense was awful outside of Woodsoon (C. Benson 140 yards?  really!?)  There's a difference between being a big fan of your team vs. living in a fantasy land where they are always perfect.

Sure has been quiet in the FFL thread - everyone just too in awe of my team to comment?   ;)  Good game this week Brent.  Next up...the Golden Girlz!

ANd I totally disagree that SF outplayed MN today.   That blocked FG was huge but MN pretty much dominated everything else.

Scott, could you possibly be more of a homer?   :-*  Given the circumstances, I think the Vikes were very lucky to walk away with a win.  The 49ers with S. Hill had the game won up until the final 2 seconds of the game despite losing Gore (their only real offensive weapon) on the very first play.  Hill was a match for future HOF'r Favre (Hill was actually more accurate) and they held the league's #1 RB to 85 rushing yards, no TDs.  The Vikes missed a FG (returned for a TD), got a lucky break with Harvin's kick return, and gave up the lead to the 49ers twice while playing at home.

That's hardly what I would call "dominating" every aspect of the game.  Look up the Packers vs. St. Louis this week for a more accurate definition of dominating.   ;)

Wow, that was a flashback to the days of old.  Congrats on the last minute win Purple People - SF definitely outplayed the Vikes today, but a win is a win.

I saw The Informant last night. What a ride. Very good movie.

Saw this on Friday and I'd give it a B.  Entertaining at times, but also some lengthy bores between laughs.  IT definitely picks up and gets more and more out of control near the end.

Can anyone tell me what this is?  Guess I was totally unaware that TRU sells used vinty figs on their website.

That's kind of cool.  I wonder if you always get the same five pictured or different variations?  There's is one comment from 9/5 that someone was happy with their purchase.

It's definitely not as vague as This Star Wars Item.
