Wow, just saw the new loose shots of these up at JTA, and boy do they SUCK.

Apparently "articulation" has fallen out of the Hasbro lexicon when it comes to this line. Swivel legs? No torso or wrist action? Bulky oversized helmets that are not even removable? Eesh.

And they didn't even fix Aayla's goofy face. :(

I've never felt LESS excited about this line, honestly. I barely even want to buy these things, much less pick up doubles for opening. I don't care about the characters, and to make it worse they're not even doing a competent job with the smal handful of figures they do pick to make.

Bleak year.

That bounty stuff does not bother me at all...that stuff has been going on for years, football is a violent, brutal game, and I don't have a problem with a guy trying to knock someone out of the game. You should be doing that on every play anyway without any financial incentives IMO.

I understand why they had to come down hard from a legal and liability standpoint, but it smacks of hypocrisy to me.

How exactly do you ban a coach for a year though? He can't have any contact with the team? That seems impossible to enforce.

I was able to pick up a Defend Kamino BP after work for $12.99 @ TJ MAXX. They also had a fresh case of the DVD sets. Good times.

Yep, LL is freaky swoll up, but he's a Jet now, so he's their problem.

I always liked him on the Skins, even when he was no-showing autograph signings or getting trucked by Brandon Jacobs, but you can't be throwing big money at a guy that cannot stay on the field.

RE: Tebow, sounds like it's down to the Jags or Jets. I don't think either of those are a great fit, but I'm sure one of them will take a chance. (Though I seriously doubt they can wrangle a 3rd Round pick for him as has been discussed)

I guess Rex and new OC Sparano love the wildcat, so he works for that. That locker room is a mess though, and NY is a mighty bright spotlight.

Jax is home turf but it sounds like it's the owner who really wants him, not the football guys, so that doesn't bode well. Plus they JUST drafted Gabbert last year, way too early to start closing the book on him.

LOL, Hasbro and their Cease and Desist nonsense.

You can't unring that bell now, dinguses. Once it's on the Internets, it's there forever!

I was just rereading your last sentence and laughed, in the last 4 months there was a giant Kree invasion in the pages of the Fantastic Four.  #600-604.

Yeah, I definitely would have missed that. I stopped collecting that book the day that John Byrne left. It will always be dead to me after that. I only need the first 5 issues to complete my collection too...so close!

What I think is hilarious is the way some people across the community are freaking out over the inconsistencies in how Walmart is handling Star Wars.  I mean, we are talking about WalMart here.  There's not a great level of standardization in how their stores operate.  We're not talking about Target, which runs a pretty tight ship nationally and manages their inventory ruthlessly.  We've only seen minimal Star Wars price glitches with Target in the past year or two.  WalMart is a mess in comparison, and has been for some time.

Yeah, if anything people should be happy that Walmart is such a logistical mess...it allows for some incredibly sweet deals like $4 Blu Ray figures and $8 deluxe sets, etc. It would be a lot harded to find those kind of loopholes at a TRU, for example.

Good luck with that.

I still don't get why they felt they need to jerk around with a team that is just coming off a solid run and some post-season success like they had. Why they are so desperate to run Tebow out of town? I get that the guy has a somewhat limited skill set but still, you beat the freaking Steelers last year!

Even worse is San Fran though - those guys were a play or two away from the Super Bowl! And you're ready to dump Smith who FINALLY got his act together and jump into bed with Manning? Now you could lose BOTH guys and be screwed royally. Serves them right.

Harbaugh has not made many missteps since taking over but that was a colossal one, IMO.

Sigh, so much awesomeness, and then there's effing Lori.  ::)

The first 20 minutes was solid gold...I'm not sure how many consecutive hours I could watch of zombie armageddon, but it would be an awful lot.

Definitely will have to watch the recap later because I still do not get really what their plan was at the Farm...seemed like a lot of aimless driving back and forth and wasting ammo on undead target practice. Sure made for exciting TV though. Poor Jimmy! Poor Patricia too. I'm kinda surprised the suicidal chick made it out alive, and Hersel for that matter. I thought for sure he was going down in a blaze of glory, but glad they decided to keep him around.

The barn burning scene was awesome, really well done...a highlight of the season for sure.

Bummer about Andrea, but if she hadn't gotten separated it wouldn't have led to ONE OF SINGLE MOST AWESOME SCENES IN TELEVISION OVER THE PAST FIVE YEARS:

MICHONNE FTW, baby!!!

The awesomeness meter on this show just got cranked up to about 15 on the Bad-Ass Scale!

And not only that, the closing shot of The Prison!?! - How incredible was THAT? Nerdgasm!

The only sour note in the whole episode, and I am getting tired of coming back to this, but damn, LORI. WHAT THE HELL?!?! YOU basically tell Rick to murder Shane, then screw with Shane's head causing him to try and murder Rick, and then when Rick actually does what you asked, because he is forced to due to your careless meddling, you have the unbelievable audacity to get all huffy WITH HIM?!?!?

She is just a rotten person, plain and simple. I wish she would just leave and take Carol with her already. Ugh, so over those two.

Some interesting stuff from Talking Dead:

The have cast the role of Michonne but I have no idea who the actress was (Denai something?) they showed so no idea if this was a good choice or what.

The host actually asked them what the hell about Lori and before Kirkman joked it away the other dude Mazzara started to explain that it was really herself she was mad at for setting all these events into motion more or less, but still, geez.

I guess they were originally planning to have Randall escape and kill Hershel but ultimately changed their minds and let him live.

Great show, great season, a little slow at times but definitely strong as hell at the end there. Looking forward to next year SO MUCH!

Four Marshalls in four days and nada to show for it.  I guess they're just not hitting my area.

Great success on my lunch run yesterday...TJ Maxx was a bust but I found a whole case of these at Marshall's and bought them all.

Uh, what?  ???

Um, you realize we are two different people, right?  ;)

I thought the finale was a disappointing let-down. The whole thing seemed contrived and ultimately a time-wasting boondoggle as nothing really happened.

Why was there suddenly a million credit bounty on Opress? For roughing up that chick in the diner? Wouldn't someone have tried to claim that before now if it was for his previous misadventures?

Obi-Wan can whoop ass on Maul when he's 100% tip-top shape with full organic agility, but he's suddenly completely overmatched by the emaciated, completely unaccustomed to walking on cyborg legs, half-crazy Maul? Shouldn't Obi-Wan's skills have grown since the last time they met? He went down far too easily, IMO.

And Maul was completely overwhelmed by Asajj and Dooku before, but now he's a complete unstoppable badass?

Where is Sidious in all this? Shouldn't he be aware Maul is back too?

Agreed the whole thing felt rushed, and slapdash at best; apparently none of their writers could figure out how to explain how Maul's upper torso managed to escape Naboo and fly away to the garbage planet.

They've got too many freaking villains on this show now, they really need to start cutting back next season. Are they not allowed to kill the bigger bad guys for some reason?

Anyway, this was a good rebound season, all the more ironic considering they've abandoned the toy line and we got so many great new figure options on the show this year. You could make 2-3 waves of outstanding figures from The Box alone. sigh.

Anyone care to explain "MOAB?!?!

All I get from Google is that it's a city in Utah and a Massive Ordinance Air Blast bomb. I don't think that's what Pam was talking about...

Gonna miss this show after next week, another strong season.

But seriously, you cannot take this off the air until they freaking murder that dbag Barry! Later 'tater.

I don't see what happens to Rick being able to carry over to the show.

I'm very curious to see what they do on that point as well. It's a pretty integral part of the book, and we know they are headed into this storyline next season, so it will be interesting to see how they handle that whole question.

I'll be very happy if the rest of that stuff comes true though.  ;D

I was browsing through the "local" Wal-Mart last night and found the MArvel 3-pack box sets were marked down to $9 for some reason.  They only one White FF set and the Space guys, but I bought up both at that price.  Might be worth checking out your local WM if anyone's still looking for these.  I was just looking at them at Target a few minutes prior, where they are still $22.

My local Walmart has had both those packs on clearance for weeks now, definitely a good deal. They still have a stack of Sentinels for $20 too.

I'm loving realistic Anakin.

As a die-hard fan of the animated line, I still don't know what to think of these realistic "cross-overs."  I really don't have a problem with Hasbro making realistic versions of the core characters from the series, since we already have animated versions available for those of us who prefer to see these in animated form.  But I think that I may shed a small tear into my Coke Zero if Hasbro releases a realistic version of an animated character before that character is made in the animated line.

Co-sign. Although my reaction would be more along the lines of "VOMITING WITH RAGE".  >:( That would be a brutal slap in the face to every collector who has supported this line since its outset. Let's pray that never happens!
