Hey everybody. Just thought I would let you know now that I have it confirmed that the "Clone Wars" toys are in fact shipping and are being found at Target stores.
Big Dumb Wookie confirms this at a Crawfordsville Target in Indiana but sadly they were taked back before he could buy any.
Also I ran into a guy who at first I did not believe that the CLone Wars toys were out and he bought some at a Louisvile KY Target. Now I do since BDW confirms that the Clone Wars toys are out.
Also today I was at a Target store and I asked about the Star Wars toys. I was told that they are in the back for a promotional type event. I think we will be seeing some adverftisements in the very near future.

Very interesting David... I caught Adam's post earlier as well. I wonder if this is why some Hasbro reps recently swung through all of my local Targets here and cleared out all the pegs. I haven't heard anything about an upcoming promotion yet, though I assume there certainly will be one to coincide with the CW line release. Do you think it'll be before the premiere of the CW cartoon "series" though? Can't even recall the date of that right now...
If I had to guess, I'd say it's likely that these are sitting in the back storerooms right now, 'til the big promotion (whenever that is), and anything that hits the market right now probably isn't supposed to yet - kinda similar to the whole midnight madness "do not put on shelves until ___" deal. Just my guess though. Guess we'll find out soon enough! 8)
But based on what's currently available (and "in hand") on eBay from the CW line, I'd speculate that all that's going to be initially released if it happens soon will just the "army builder" sets, and possibly a couple ships. Plenty of the army builders on eBay, but not a single "in-hand" regular carded CW figure, so I don't anticipate those happening in the next month at least. The pre-sells on those state anywhere from end of June to August as far as availability dates...

Bring on those Clone packs!!
I've been jonesin' to go nuts buying SW figures this year. Hopefully the Clone Wars line will be given more shelf space than what Saga currently has now.
Maybe, if we all eat our vegetables and clean our rooms, Hasbro will be nice and have plenty of those 2003 figs everyone's been looking for right there with the Clone Wars toys.

I live in MN and have friends at Target's main offices and Distribution Center.
I can confirm that Target does have some promo events (weekly Ad) planned for Clone Wars this summer and that most Target stores already have Clone Wars product (basic figures and 3 vehicles: Gunship, Starfighter, AAT) in the back room...

Hopefully some of us here will get lucky and find an early Clone Wars leak somewhere. I'd really like to hear some opinions on the new product from you guys.

No new Saga figures, of course, but I found a lone Destroyer Droid Battle Launcher at TRU in Dickson City, PA this afternoon.
Yippee.
I'm a winner now.

I heard something about a street date for Clone Wars at Target, might anyone know when this is? Are they just waiting for the Christmas reset?

This morning at 9AM when TRU in Greenwood (Indianapolis, IN) opened up I found some new Star Wars Toys. Clone Wars toys to be exact.
I picked up X2 of the 3-pack of Clonetroopers (all white), X2 Droid Army, and X2 of the Droid Launcher for $10.99 each. There was no sign of the Jedi 3-pack.
I also picked up one of the two Gunships they had for $29.99. They still have one of the other Gunships from before for $44.99.
So get to TRU to grab some Clone Wars figures and GunShip.

I just found 2x each of the Droid Army Builder and Luncher set at a local TRU. The cards were bent but I bought a set. I didn't find any Gunships or Clones.

And a week later I found the Battle Droid 3-pack at the same place. Once a week. This is a good pace. I hope it continues.
Is this assortment shipping with the Clone Troopers 3-pack?

The "current" assortment of Clone Wars packs is X2 Droid Army, X2 Destroyer Droid Launcher, X2 Clones (White) the other colors will come later down the line.
My TRU today restocked this wave.

Im pleasantly surprised with these sets. Aside from some incredibly soft plastic, the figures are really quite cool! :)
