Yes...but the quality on almost all cards has been sucky.  Newforce even had some of there cases on two shipments come in crushed

Hey Jeff!  Thanks for scooping the news for us! And for stopping on by the forums.  This one is a head scratcher...those wings look awful.  Is this the exact same ship?  I see the black detail but it doesn't look too different

Brent those were the best ones as a matter of fact...Saga cards have been nowhere near as good as the POTJ figs were.

I'm with Nicklab and David, I am so glad I open my stuff

Holy Crap that sucks David!

I have never had that happen but is something I often worry about.  I suppose it could be from an e-tailer.  Or else someone caught something while you were ordering...

You never used it anywhere else?

I've noticed in general that the Saga cards are of poorer quality than the POTJ cards were

On a totally unrelated note...plastic is made based off components recovered from Oil.  I was thinking today of a common War Protest chant "No Blood For Oil"...

Perhaps it should be: "No Blood For Oil Unless it Is For the Creation of Star Wars 3 3/4" Action Figures or their larger 12" Counterparts"

I also have often thought of the fact that a lot of product can be shipped right back to the factory and placed in ye olde extruder and made into something new...maybe I'll do that in my basement :P

Saga '02-'04 / Same Body, Different Heads
« on: April 4, 2003, 02:26 PM »

Hasbro recently told Rebelscum that this scenario is the only way we would get such tertiary background characters as the above Faytonni and Ak-Med Beq.  While this isn't the greatest sign in the line's health IMO there are some instances where I would perfectly fine with them doing it...

Rebel Pilots (New Heads with Deco'd Helmets)
Ewoks (Two different size bodies with different cowels and paint apps)
Astromechs
Protocal Droids
Imperial Officers

Etc etc...

What do you think of this trend?

I was fine with figures like R2-Q5 and K-3PO which were straight repaints.  If this is what it takes to get some of the background of the background, I'm all for it!
