Star Wars Action Figures / Re: Customs by Sith's Herald
« on: March 4, 2007, 09:18 PM »
Hi,
I Loved All Your Customs But I Believe My Personal Favorites are Papa Kal & The Omegas.
The Black Hapen Guard Looks Almost Exactly like Jules From Pulp Fiction.
Is That A Mace Head With A Mustache Painted On?  ;D

Customizing Tips and Tricks / Re: Working with Acrylic....?
« on: October 28, 2006, 03:07 PM »
Don't Use High Speed It Will Melt The Acrylic,  I've Always Drilled Holes By Hand  But If You Use a Drill Use The Lowest Speed You Have. or Use A Dremel on Low. I Also Use A Bradpoint Or Diamond Coated Bit Too. You Can Drill It. I've Drilled Acrylic Rods I Use For Lightsabers.  If You Any Help PM Me and I'll Try to Help You Out.

This Is A Great Custom, The Only Thing I Would Suggest Is To Work On The Eyes A Little They Seem To Blend In With The Head Way Too Much. In My Opinion They Need To Be Darker. Other Than That I Think It is a great and unique Custom.

That's A Good Idea Considering The Era The UGP Is Set In. I Think Early Rebels Would Be Better Suited to Be In The UGP. I Say We Vote On A Different Theme For The
Non-UGP Contest and Let The Early Rebels Be Part Of The UGP. That Way You Can Do More than one Theme On Your Customs.

Darth Ennis: I Found Them At A Store Called Hobby World In Jacksonville FL, It's A Local area Store. But Plastruct Does Have a Web Site. The Hobby Town USA Here In Tally Carries Plastruct But Not The Colored Acrylic Rods. So Your Hobby Town Might I Would Call And Ask Before Driving 20 miles.

BrentS: The Rods Are Very Strudy And Make From Acrylic. I Haven't Broke One Yet. The Only Way I Know Of For Them To Bend Is Too Much Heat.
