Found Legolas and Harradim last night at Target, no Aragorn or Pippin in sight :-[

Anyway, I love the list Spuffy, some seem a little unnecessary to me at least, however, I would buy most of them anyway if they were made, copy, paste and editing Darb's list

Saw the first trilogy figures ever in my area tonight.  A ringwraith, an Aragorn/Helm's Deep, and a Frodo w/Sting.  A pretty sorry lot really but I'm excited to nab $5 figures when I do happen upon them.

So long as TB makes sensible decisions, and makes figures available that the people want like Haradim Archers and whatnot, then I'll be happy to start buying LOTR figures routinely.

I did get the last ARmored troll TRU had tonight though.  $20 for a troll is a steal.  It's a fine troll I think.  The head rubber is definitely improved a LOT too.

I also saw some trilogy figures at a Target near us this past weekend.  I saw the same figures as Jesse James (ringwraith, HD Aragorn, Frodo w/sting).  I haven't bought any other LOTR figures for now, simply because we don't have the room...but it makes it even more tempting if they are going to be $5 a pop now.  I used to think Star Wars figures were a pretty good value, and was really happy when they went down to $4.99 a figure, but when you see the larger, many times more articulated LOTR figs for $5, and Marvel Legends for $6-something, I start to reconsider.  Oh well, I don't mind paying $5 for SW, its still better than $7 or $8, but $3 or $4 would be better :P.

Targets and Meijers have tons of the Trilogy LOTR figures. I picked up the Arwen. She is the same as the horse version just with her sword. This goes for the other horse riders that are in the trilogy toys, they are just repacks. Fine by me.

I saw a Gandalf the White and man was he WHITE! I passed on him but them when I got home and looked at my Gandalfs (which are tan)...I think I will go back a get him now.

Still have not found the Twilight Frodo. I have heard he is poping up.
For those of you looking for me. I am now at www.sandtroopers.com

That list can't be real. I mean, where are all the Gollums and Smeagols?

Fanboy's wet dream, pure and simple. Of course, I'd gladly eat my words if it were true.

well more things are popping up at the Green Dragon, i am very suprised to read this but here is the post :

Dragonspy Ryan, who works the night shift at Wal-Mart, had a few minutes of free time and decided to rummage around on the computer at the store to see what LOTR figures were coming. What he found will delight everyone:

"Under "LOTR Trilogy Figures" (item #788286), it brought up several figures, notably Shelob, Queen Arwen, King of the Dead, King of the Dead 2 (the glow in the dark one?), Twilight Frodo, and Gollum with Ring."

Let's hope this is true. ;)

The head rubber is definitely improved a LOT too.

[snicker]

Ahem...

I certainly hope so. I went to pack mine away last summer during my move and noticed that the entire face had fine cracks all over it. It's just disintegrating. Yet I've got a Jurassic Park T-Rex years older that is holding up just great.

Any chance the armored Cave troll can be retrofitted with that new... head rubber?

[snicker]
Post sober.
