Never fear everyone.  I overpaid for one just now.

So that means it’ll be available at Shop Disney for $15 after the hotel closes.

Thank you for your service Rob. Looking forward to the day the rest of us can get it cheaper.  :P

This isn't a bad-looking droid. I'd be interested if it is available at a regular price.

Secondary market prices on D3-09 seem to be going up as we get closer to the closure of the Galactic Starcruiser.  And it leaves me wondering what will happen with these figures.

I read a rumor that they sold out at the hotel a few weeks ago.  No idea if it’s true.  But if that was accurate it’s got people nervous and will definitely be leading a spike in prices.

If they’re gone from the hotel we obviously still don’t know if that’s because they’ve moved stock to get ready to put them online, or if it’s because they’re gone.

I can’t believe the $115 shipped I paid for one of these is looking pretty good at the moment though.

One clown is asking $500… lol.

Edit:  there’s a completed auction for $500, but that’s a real outlier.

Let's hope the people at Disney making the decisions on closing the hotel didn't tell the product managers / factory in a timely manner and there is still a pile of them on a boat still working its way through the distribution system that will get dumped at ShopDisney or some other place.

Old stock seems to be making it back out there with both Hasbro and Disney!  The Droid Depot 5-pack from Galaxy's Edge from a few years ago has popped back up on Shop Disney.  No vault to be seen with that set.  So I wonder if that might be the case at some point with D3-09?

Prices on these are trending down.  I grabbed one for under $50, which is still a lot of cash but a lot more reasonable than things have been.

It appears that these are turning up in stores in the Disney Parks.  As more and more of them get out there the prices are gradually coming down, which is most welcome.  The same seems to be happening with the Galactic Starcruiser astromech, SK-620.
