Thanks for the comments Chewie!
I really like your addition as well! What parts did you use? It looks like the torso might be from cannon that came with the Saga Geonosis set(Target exclusive)The paint as usual is just astounding! Did you paint it black and then dry brush the silver on?

Here is another addition to this months challenge! And this one is on time!!
It is inspired by the droids that load Obi-Wans star destroyer before take off for Utupau.
I bought myself a new table top scroll saw that cuts PVC styrene like butter! I used it as a test bed for making this droid, I want to start work on a turbo tank.

I have a large droid that should be done before the end of the month, all I have to do is paint it!

Metal Jedi - Sorry I missed your question - it's a head from a 21st Century Xtreme Detail figure.

Jedipurge - That's a great idea on the spagetti making play dough stuff for hair!  And thanks for the other suggestions too.  I'll probably use some Tusken hands on a second attempt.

 :P

thats good for a first attempt Jus! Heck, mine is no better than yours and this was my second attempt!

Thanks! Answer a few questions;Unfortunately the walker isn't articulated, but it does look kinda menacing next to a few droidekas :P. The power droid is made up of parts leftover from another custom. Kinda funny when the leftover parts make a better custom thn the one that you intended!

I will try and make one for this months challenge, but here are some older ones!
This is a fig made with left over parts. The legs are from an artoo, the body is the backside engine compartment from the Darth Maul speeder.

I thought of this as a kind of add on to the droideka line. It is made from the lower half from the STAP, legs from some Titan A.E. toy, and various parts from other Star Wars toys.

A few astro droid repaints, man my painting sucks! Might be too much coffee!

I second that.

Back to ebay customs. Here is one that you don't see everyday. Well maybe you do because the guy made three different versions. War is hell.

I saw those yesterday, I thought they were very creative. Espescially the pics of the clones face showing through the helmet!

So I am a little late.....this is last months submission. This fig has actually been pieced together for about a year now, I just recently painted it.

This is my submission for this month. This fig has pretty much the same history as the smuggler fig. It has been together for about a year, I just painted it yesterday.

Photonovels and Movies / Re: Vacation!

Sorry your vacation didn't go well! It really stinks when you save up all year for one and then it gets blown to hell on a lousy time.  At least the Vader kinda made up for it!

Customs Community and Group Projects / Re: Am I the only one...

I totally agree with you guys! I will start on one, and then my mind goes off in the opposite direction and I think of another custom that I could do. I have roughly 5 customs, sitting on my work bench, waiting to be painted.  Anymore, I have a hell of  a time getting a custom done from start to finish.

hey DD, if you have any 'exta' casts(hint, hint!)of the head and torso from the Republic Commando, I would really be interested in them!

Star Wars Action Figures / Re: custom swoop

Looks nice... any way to resize the image?   ;)

Are you going to do any more painting on it?  I'd like to see a rider on it.   :)

 :P
Man, I tell ya. I have tried and tried to figure out the whole resizing of the pics. They usually just turn out with half of the picture gone ::)If someone is willing to explain it to me,  I would more than appreciate it.
As far as the custom goes, the paint is final on it, it easily accepts most figs(EII Clone Pilot, AT-TE tank gunner as well as others) I will have to take some pics with a rider on it.

Star Wars Action Figures / Wookie Warrior
« on: May 16, 2005, 04:25 PM »

I repainted the Sneak Preview Wookie Warrior, plus added a bandolier. I thought that the #44 WW's belt would fit on the SPWW, but it is too small. This one is made from Sheet styrene and some wire.

Star Wars Action Figures / custom swoop
« on: May 16, 2005, 04:24 PM »

Made this custom swoop from the Shadows of the Empire swoop, plus parts from the POFT2 Probot, Jangos' second backpack and EII Obi-Wans assasin droid.

Star Wars Action Figures / coeli's Customs
« on: May 16, 2005, 04:22 PM »

Bly and his squad. Probably one of this years most copied customs. Bly is just a simple repaint while his squad are made up from Clone Commanders plus the shoulder pads from the AT-TE gunner. One has the helmet from the CC, while the other has the helmet from the #6 clone.
