Sounds like you are tring to send a private message through the JEdidefender site instead of just a basic old email.
Just go to your regular email in outlook or hotmail or google mail or whatever you use to send general emails to people outside of this site. That's where you should put in the contest email in the TO field, the subject for the contest, and the contact details in the body of your email. Hope that helps!
