Since Leia, The Child, Greef, and Fett are all new figures, I have to imagine that Snaggletooth is probably just going to be a carded repack of the figure from the Target TVC 3-Pack (http://rebelscum.com/Villain_Set_Snaggletooth_Special_Action_Figure_Set_Star_Wars_Hasbro.asp) a couple of years ago (8 years ago!) to help offset costs.

The Snaggletooth figure is a question mark for me, too. Just because there are a few ways to approach it. The character on the original Kenner cardback eventually came to be known as Zutton, and we got that figure back in the POTJ line. And I think that photo may very well have come from the Holiday Special. Would Hasbro re-release a 20 year old figure on a TVC cardback? Or re-do Zutton?
If it’s a re-release of the figure from the TVC 3-pack? I’m fine with that because it’s actually a pretty good figure. And I’m pretty certain it’s an update of Takeel from the cantina. The original version of him came out back in a POTF2 Cantina Aliens cinema scene.

I have noticed that they are playing the "hike the price when supply is low" game again with some TVC stuff. Fett went from $12.99 to $19.99 this weekend.
TVC Commander Wolffe (https://amzn.to/3lZGVwi) went from $12.99 to $17.99 and now back down to $15.99 over the course of the weekend.

I wonder what would happen if you ordered it at $20. Would they automatically give you a price break later?
I've pre-ordered things from them in the past and they sometimes will automatically give you price breaks while the order is still unfulfilled to try and have a better "market rate".

When I ordered Boba Fett on Amazon it was $12.99. And I saw on the order page something about a preorder price guarantee. But I can’t find the information on that now.

I’ll be curious to see how the paint on this compares to the original release. Not sure if this is something Yakface put together or if it’s a real image, but even the two examples here look like they have quite different paint jobs.

How much more evidence do we need that there are no Star Wars fans on the current Star Wars team? The irony is they are all "made up after the fact" names, except Zutton who is called by name by Bea Arthur in the Holiday Special.
Agree, hopefully they have time to change it to Takeel or Snaggletooth before the release.

Keeping these Snivvians straight seems like a full time job!
I went back to watch the Cantina scene from the Holiday special based on what Muftak said. And Bea Arthur does call that particular Snivvian Zutton. I had seen someone elsewhere identify that Snivvian as Zutmore. And then there's Takeel!
Looking through some screencaps of the Cantina scene in ANH it looks like there could be more than one Snivvian in the Cantina. One of the clearest shots I found in checking out some screencaps is a Snivvian facing camera when Wuher is telling Luke that the droids have to leave. And there's also a shot of a Snivvian sitting by Han & Chewbacca's booth when the Sandtroopers go to check things out. Both of them look like they're hunchbacks, but the first one seems to have thicker hair than the other. And Wookieepedia identifies a Snivvian seen on the streets of Mos Eisley (after Luke sells his speeder) as Zutton, the one sitting near Han & Chewie's booth as Takeel. And the Snivvian who was featured on the vintage Kenner card as Snaggletooth and released as a POTJ figure as Zutton was identified as Zutmore in the Star Wars Insider. I can only find that one in the Holiday Special. Oh! And there's another one in the Richard Pryor Star Wars bar sketch that seemed like it had official help from Lucasfilm - and I'm not touching what he called that Snivvian!!!
Is it me, or is this just exhausting? Because we start getting into that "What's canon and what's not canon?" kind of conversation that just starts going around in circles. And based on all of that confusion, I'm not going to take Hasbro to task on this one. Lucasfilm had to sign off on the name. And it seems like it's been a mess keeping the names of these characters straight for quite some time.

According to this image there's 2 of em, one with full hair and the other one is balding. The holiday special character just throws more confusion into it.

Interesting to see these leak on the Target website of all places! The Greef Karga figure looks like a digital mockup, kind of like the way Hasbro revealed the TVC Bespin escape Leia.
Yakface rumored on IG that Hasbro might also be revealing TVC versions of Kuiil and IG-11. I wonder if those might be coming today, too?
EDIT - it seems that they're also up on Hasbro Pulse now, too.

I found Greef Karga on Amazon... The Child hasn't shown up yet, is still "coming soon" on Pulse, and seems to have sold out on Target's website almost instantly.

I ordered Amazon. Not sure if Pulse was late or just sold out. People on FB were saying Pulse sold out in 2 minutes and I got tired of reloading, so I will deal with crushed cards from Amazon I guess.

It seems like this wave is beginning to hit. It's not clear how, but indications are that they might have turned up at Target in Arizona. I've also seen an unconfirmed report of them turning up in Indiana.
I'm a little shocked that our first look at a hardcopy of either Leia (Bespin Escape) or Greef Karga has come via retail finds and not any sort of glam shots from Hasbro. And a number of people have been pretty critical of the photo for the cardback of Leia.
I wonder how long it's going to be until these make it to the online retailers? The original delivery date was advertised as April.

I popped over to Target to buy an AC filter tonight and found The Child sitting on the pegs. It was the only figure there, the first figure I’ve seen on a shelf in months, and I think the first figure I’ve found I stores that I didn’t already have since the Resistance figures were the newest thing.

Glad to have received my case of this wave from EE today. But their shipping still leaves a little to be desired. The tracking data was almost useless until yesterday when it became apparent that whatever third party shipper EE uses handed off to the USPS in NJ. There was a 4 or 5 day gap where I knew that a label had been created but it seemed like it was in limbo.
Also, the case was advertised as follows:
3 x The Child
2 x Boba Fett
1 x Princess Leia (Bespin Escape)
1 x Greef Karga
1 x Zutton

Man, I feel like this is showing up all over the place. I wish Amazon would get their figures in. It's still listed as May 1st or 5th or something like that.

Seen nada here in the ass end of distribution. I’d gladly like to pick these up but it’s a wasteland out there at this point.

I've been finding bits and pieces of TVC in stores, but it's only the reissue wave. And that's using inventory trackers like Popfindr and Brickseek. But that leaves out Target, because Target seems to have figured out how to block that data from showing up on those sites. And the Target app won't generate anything close to the level of tracking that Brickseek or Popfindr can.
Target seems to be the chain where this wave is showing up. But unless you can be at a bunch of stores within an hour or so of them opening you seem to be out of luck. I think that people are grabbing what they can to the point of hoarding, because you don't know when or where you might actually find figures again. The smaller number of cases that are shipping seems to be part of it. And I think the smaller case packs of 8 figures versus the old model of 12 figures per case might be another contributing factor, too.
With the case I bought? I haven't opened anything yet. Because I'm still waiting on other online orders from HasbroPulse and Amazon before I'll feel comfortable opening them. I kind of regret opening the only Armorer that I got because I'm back to collecting both carded and loose TVC figures.

I received my Bespin Escape Leias today. Definite improvement over the POTJ version and the converted Hoth Leias I've been using in my BMF Falcon and Carbon Freeze chamber displays!

Same here! I ordered Bespin escape Leia from Pulse back in September. Given the reports of this wave turning up at Target stores and now at Walmart in quantity, it’s becoming clear that Hasbro is serving the interests of the retail partners before Pulse. And there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of rhyme or reason to how it works.

It's hilarious to see people kicking around theories about what retailers got the correct version of Boba Fett. And if they're not poring over the fine details of the sensor bar they're talking about whether or not they got a version with an orange pill rather than yellow.
All of that being said? I just ordered another couple of Boba Fett's from EE and two more Grogu's from Amazon.

I snagged a Child and Fett at the Jawa Trader in Disney World a few weeks ago. Was shocked to finally find them and willing to pay the $15 price tag. They got a little bent up trying to get them back home though, which is kind of a bummer. I didn't have any good way of protecting them from airport security or smashing of overhead bags. :P

Difference are facial expressions and RC Grogu has the knob in his hand.

I think those last two are for carded collectors only. Missing parts isn't much of a variation for loose figures. ;)

The Zutton card would be cool to have. I'm not so into the missing braids.
But if you want to trade for a flat armor version LMK. So far that's the only version that I've gotten.

Oh yeah no, just the 3 unique carded figures. I seem to recall each has a unique expression so you get all the Grogu feels.

All Hasbro Pulse orders seem to be running later than other retailers. I think that's likely by design, since Pulse has the potential to cut in on the business of some of their retail partners. I was looking through the spreadsheet of the orders that I've placed, and almost all of the outstanding ones are with Hasbro Pulse. The one that really irks me is the Bespin Escape Leia. I placed that order with Hasbro Pulse in OCTOBER! It's ridiculous that things are dragging out like this. Meanwhile other Hasbro IP's actually have figures on the pegs, like Marvel and Transformers. Finding new figures at retail has become like a ******* scavenger hunt. WTAF????

Yeah, just about every order I have with Pulse these days gets canceled when I end up getting it elsewhere first. It's a great idea, and I suppose a good safety net, but the extremely delayed shipping is making it kind of worthless.

FFS. I received another 2 of the ROTJ Boba Fetts from Amazon yesterday, and I still got the incorrect version. Hoping that the ones from EE are the corrected version.

I got a couple of the correct version when I ordered 2 x Boba Fett's from EE. But the case I ordered from EE had the incorrect version, and so did my Amazon orders.
Oh, and the Bespin escape Leia and Greef Karga that I ordered from Hasbro Pulse in the fall just arrived today. SMH....

Got my Greef Karga today and I really like the figure! Good likeness of Carl Weathers, the articulation was a bit surprising...I was not expecting rocker ankles on him!

Received my two Baba Fetts from EE today. I'm happy to report that these are the corrected versions! So if you are looking for this figure and decide to go to an online source for it...you're most likely going to get the corrected one!
