I was in the first 1,000 orders.  If they are going by a First-in First-Out plan, I should get mine pretty quick.

But yeah, these are probably just some of the promotional examples.
This is the way.

In NYC?  I'm wondering if those are for publicity / media reviews?

The pic I saw on Yakface Twitter said like 438 pieces, which is a really, really small amount (1.5%) of the 28k ordered.

If that is the case, then these being intended for media/PR review purposes as well as just allowing Hasbro to have final production samples on hand for their Pulse Con in October is more likely than shipping to customers.

I didn't listen to every minute of the Hasbro Pulse Con, but were there any updates on the Razor Crest?  I didn't catch anything new on shipping dates when I was skimming through the reveals and the section at the end dedicated to the Rancor reveal.

There was nothing brought up during the Star Wars panel. Don’t know about Haslab Rancor panel as I had no interest in watching it.

Hasbro just announced a "Fan First Friday" for Star Wars on 11/5 (11am ET) to "talk all things HasLab" so maybe we will get a Razor Crest update then...  unless it's just a 6" rancor hype session.

It'll probably be a Black Series jackoff session.

But I'd love to get an update on the Razor Crest for sure. I doubt they'd announce the next TVC Haslab project.

Since this is a digital sculpt, they should just run a TVC Rancor vs. a Black Series Rancor and see what happens.

I have a Kenner Rancor, a POTF2 Rancor, a Legacy Collection Rancor and it's TFU repaint already... not sure I'd plunk down the $175 (at least) they'd charge for yet another 3.75" scale Rancor.  :-\

Agreed.

It was never my favorite "character" and I've got a couple too many already.

I'm not going to be able to check out the livestream as it happens, but I'm really hopeful that we're going to get an update on the Razor Crest.  Considering all of the shipping information that Jayson has been able to dig up about some of these turning up in North America, you have to wonder if we're really close to these being delivered.  I just looked at my Hasbro Pulse account - I was charged on September 27th, 2020.  13+ months is a long time to wait.

Regarding the shipping date being bumped to early 2022… I don’t know why I never considered the impact of holiday shipping. If Hasbro/Haslab is still shipping out Sentinels, then clearly all the bugs aren’t worked out in order in the supply chain, which we already know. If you add Holiday shipping delays into the mix Hasbro was facing the choice of delivering all the Razorcrests before Thanksgiving or risk it all and possibly have the worst roll out yet of Haslab project delivery.

Waiting until the new year is pretty wise decision given the gundark’s nest of problems with shipping these days.

I’m totally happy on the legacy rancor.  It’s glossy rawhide looking, and scaled right, and articulated… I’m pretty content.  It’s more a background than a figure to me.  I would rather them do something new and awesome on haslabs.

Take a few years off collecting and you miss all the cool ****... Do we expect a second round of these to go back up if people cancel pre-orders or is this a one and done?

I always checked toy aisles in the stores, even pre-COVID it was a desert out here. It was a big part of why I have hardly been collecting. Bummer about these being one and done... I imagine they will fetch a pretty penny on the secondary market. I saw a Sail Barge going for about $8,000 on eBay a little while back...  :-X
