Has anyone heard anything on what's up with Shop Disney's Concept Vader Kenobi set?

This week's announcement is for Kenobi Retro figures (and other stuff):
- Obi-Wan Kenobi (Wandering Jedi)
- Fifth Brother
- Grand Inquisitor
- NED-B
- Darth Vader

Pre-orders tomorrow, and since there is no mention of exclusivity I assume these will be broadly available.

My Rebels 5th Brother and Grand Inquisitor animated figures look SO MUCH better than these dorks. Hard pass.

This week's latest brings us the following:

The Black Series
- Purge Trooper (Phase II Armor) - Wal-Mart Exclusive - I'm not sure if this is any different from what GameStop released before or not
- 1-JAC - Wal-Mart Exclusive

Yakface is also saying there is a Black Series Tala that will be available tomorrow, but this wasn't part of the announcement on StarWars.com

The Vintage Collection
- Darth Vader - you get swappable hands but I'm not sure if this sculpt is different than what we've got already

Pre-orders tomorrow

If it were 4-LOM then they couldn’t sell us a new figure ;)

But didn't he get shot? Seemed obvious it wasn't 4-LOM I thought.

Droids can be rebuilt.

But being a LOM model, it's weird that they went with 1-JAC instead of 12-LOM or something.

I know a lot of people were avoiding spoilers/stories before the premiere, but I had read this story a while back - https://uproxx.com/tv/obi-wan-kenobi-4-lom-one-jack/

I am guessing the JAC is a nod to someone involved with the show somehow.

Never said it was, Nick.  Being a bit argumentative today?

Nope just seldomly agree with you Steve

I guess I was just piggybacking off my response to McMetal that 99% of people thought it was 4LOM.

People obviously didn't know until the figure showed up or read the articles posted.
But to this point:

But didn't he get shot? Seemed obvious it wasn't 4-LOM I thought.

That's wrong: Threepio was shot in Empire, reassembled.  Artoo was shot by Vader in his TIE and by a Stormtrooper on Endor, fully restored... so people can assume that 4-LOM was that droid (even though he had a bandolier and pistols in that scene) even though he was shot.

Nope just seldomly agree with you Steve

Wow!  Well, for future reference you don't have to reply to my posts.  It'll save you the angst.  As the Sandtrooper said, "Move along, move along!"
