Or have Boba Fett show up at the end?  They had to go to Tatooine to pick up his story line, unless that was a complete fake out.

I’ve seen some speculation that it could be Cad Bane.

I thought that was Carl Weathers at the end?  ???

Lots of fan service in that episode, but I didn't hate it.

I thought it was great that they went to Mos Eisley....you could even see the cliff where Ben and Luke stood over looking the city!  Seeing the cantina again was cool...guess the place is pretty dead now since Jabba's been dead.

Big question at the end, who was Fennec Shan supposed to meet?  The person I assume was Giancarlo Espisito's character was standing over her at the end.

Fun episode....give me more!
This is the way.

I wasn’t expecting this chapter to venture to this particular planet in chapter 5!

Me neither.  I thought that was pretty cool. I was actually checking to see if they were where I thought they were and then they said it.

Overall, pretty decent episode.  I hope to see both of those characters down the road.

I enjoyed the episode but didn't love the kid bounty hunter. Not sure if it was the actor and or the way he played it but kinda obnoxious.

I was thinking it was Esposito’s character at the end there too.

I liked it although something struck me as off about the Tusken Raiders.

Fight scenes with Ming Na are always well done it seems.

I just couldn’t get over Jerri Blank, er Amy Sedaris sans eyebrows. That was too much! The Elf connection! (fingers crossed for Kyle Gass in a future episode...)

I had to rewatch.  I figured that was the Mando back to see what happened to her and that it had less to do with someone new and more to do with her character...  blew my mind hearing the sounds but that felt like such a push to lead us away from who it might be.

I was finally able to re-watch chapter 5 last night.  And I just saw that Filoni directed this episode, too.

Seeing the Cantina again was interesting, but the place was definitely kind of dead.  And it was probably due to the aftermath of Jabba's demise.  Toro Callican was kind of a jerk, but that seemed to be the point.

The way the Tusken Raiders were incorporated seemed like a bit of a departure.  Communicating via sign language with the Mandalorian was a bit of a surprise, and the Mando calling them the locals did serve to dish up some perspective about the way the Tuskens have been characterized before.

I had to re-watch that last scene like a hawk.  While I had heard speculation about one CW bounty hunter turning up in this show, the hints seemed pretty blatant that it may have been Boba Fett that was checking out the remains of Fennec Shand.  And after seeing how much punishment Mando's armor could take in this episode and ones before that?  It leaves you thinking that the armor could endure being ingested by the Sarlacc.

The Amy Sedaris part was funny, and I actually did get a kick out the Pit Droids.  I also think I understand the whole "No Droids" thing now, and it stretches back to Mando's childhood and nearly being killed by a Super Battle Droid during the Clone Wars.  And sidenote / fun fact?  The Mos Eisley approach controlled was voiced by Steve Blum, the voice of Zeb!

Best part about the cantina was that after no droids being allowed in ANH, now it was run by EV droids, with other droids rolling around.

Do we think that The Mandalorian actually has a bloodline to one of the clans from Mandalore?  Its not clear to me if he has a bloodline or has been adopted by Mandalorian refugees.

The armor maker keeps asking him about a crest (if I recall correctly) and he keeps deferring.  I'm not sure if he doesn't feel he lives up to the Mandalorian ethos or doesn't deserve one because he doesn't have a blood line, or both.

My take is he was a "foundling" who the clan took in.  That's why he's got a soft spot for giving extra beskar for the 'foundlings" and why he's so into the orphan TINY/The Asset/The Child.  Also why he has no crest/sigil/signet yet - he hasn't earned it yet.

I've read a few theories/speculation that his "not mando by blood" is part of why his helmet rule (take helmet off in front of people, can never put it on again) is so different from blood mandos like Pre Vizsla or Bo Katan in The Clone Wars or Sabinein Rebels, all of whom took their helmets off in front in people all the time.

Helmet thing is odd because we saw Jango take off his helmet and he wasn't blood Mando (or was he?).  Maybe it's just the clan The Mandalorian is in is like super devout/religious about the helmet stuff where other clans (like in TCW, Rebels) didn't seem to care?

I figure it’s something simple(r) like that...  some are more strict than others.  Just my opinion but I have seen some people getting bent out of shape on this issue that shouldn’t be that big a deal.

I really enjoyed seeing his backstory in flashbacks with the clone wars.  Kinda rad to see SBDs and the droid Gunship zipping around.
