I don't know why, but this figure and character is really speaking to me, so I bought one even on top of all my rhetoric how the figures are getting too expensive.
$12.99 for an accessory sized figure is high. Over $20 shipped is really high. But FOMO prevailed today and this Droid Factory announcement made me fear he won't show up in TVC at all, so I will bite before it becomes "hard to find" and even more expensive.

I ordered this guy, but he seems to be gone from the Shop Disney site. Sold out? Or, maybe he wasn't supposed to be put up yet?

I ordered two of these. But it was mostly to get me over the $75 threshold for free shipping with two of these, the Halloween 4-pack and the R7 unit. I basically got one figure for free.

Yeah - they may have meant to activate the Halloween droids and accidentally added this as well. I know Hasbro is holding pre-orders for the Andor stuff (TVC, Black Series, Role Play) until later this Fall; likely as part of one of those long drawn out weekly slow drip pre-order reveals like they did for Mano, TBOBF, and OWK.

Gone again. I missed him this time, bummer. He was the only one of these three releases I really wanted. Hopefully he will make it into the main line at some point eventually.

This is something that has me somewhat irked. It’s just a bit odd that the first 3.75” figure we’re getting is from Disney, not Hasbro (the company with the Star Wars master toy license). And it’s Cassian’s droid - not the title character of the series.

Thanks for the heads-up! I was able to grab one. It weirdly had a text message on the item page that it was still out of stock, but it let me complete the order. I guess we will see what happens in a few days.

I went to Disney Springs today (closest Lego Store), and checked out the Star Wars store. They had a whole wall of these guys so I picked up two!

I didn't see it in the Galactic Outpost. If I recall correctly, there was a droid building station in the gift shop when you exit Star Tours. I didn't go into the park because I was only there because the nearest Lego Store is in Disney Springs.

When I went in 2017 there were two Star Wars shops in Disney Springs. And I was able to build droids at the Trading Post store. I don't recall if they had the build a droid station at the Galactic Outpost.

This is somewhat related to B2-EMO - does anyone think that there will be a Droid Factory 4-pack for ANDOR? The show themed Droid Factory 4-packs have been something of a staple from Disney for a while now. We've gotten them for a number of years running ever since 2015. But there have been no sets for The Book of Boba Fett and Andor. I would have thought that Mando season 3 could yield a set from the one episode where Din Djarin and Bo-Katan are tracking down the droid issues on Plazir 15. And now we're in a time where an Ahsoka set might be a consideration.
