I just hope it levels out and stays put for awhile.  I've definitely adjusted my troop building.  It needs to show up in a 4 pack or on sale for me to be buying multiples at $19 shipped.

Another bleh episode to me…

It feels local and unimportant.  Some of the Mandalorian armor looks like dollar store party costumes… seeing them still hanging out in a cave on the beach for half a season… I’m bored.

Like the main thing for the whole episode was that they killed a parent that was just trying to feed its kids and then brought home three orphaned dragons like it’s Game of Thrones, and we got a third flashback sequence of Order 66. 

Paz Vizla going all Jeeroy Jenkins on that nest turns him into a bit of an idiot to me…

The plot didn’t expand outwards into anything interesting beyond maybe building Bo Katan to be the only competent Mando among the group.    I’m assuming this is leading to her being in charge again but for God’s sake it’s not getting anywhere fast. 

I’m finding this season to be incredibly underwhelming.  The only interesting bits so far we’re episode 2 where Bo Katan is confused by the TIE Interceptors implying a bigger threat, and the last ten minutes of episode 3 where we figure out that there was more to that episode.  But who knows when they’ll pick that up again or how long before it becomes relevant to Mandalorians.

Well the last update was that they switched factories and are improving the tooling and springs and blah blah blah.

I'm not holding my breath anymore.  I won't preorder anything with them... especially since I was able to just order the Thrawn on Etsy a few weeks ago for $48.

In other news, and I'm not on Facebook so maybe everyone already knows this, but I emailed Mark Poon to ask if he was ever going to do other four unreleased Ewoks and not only is he doing them, but Morag and Chief Chirpa are already  under way, and Chiruhr and Bondo are getting done later this year:



I've had this image saved for a decade or more and reproductions or not, it's amazing to think I can have them in the collection after all this time.

Funny enough I was specifically thinking about those three Target Fett repaints. 

I could see them taking the new Vader sculpt and doing some comic book paint jobs on that.

Amazing.  I wish I’d been smart enough to do that.  I bought all my other vintage stuff 20 years ago when a real A-Wing pilot costs what a Stan Solo one does now… really expensive ones we’re Stormtrooper Luke and Pop Up Artoo at about $100 each, and Blue Snaggletooth and Yak Face set
Me back about $150 each.  Regular figures in good shape with accessories could all be had in lots at about $8 to $15 per figure.  I remember Fett being more expensive at about $30. 

I’m fully expecting a nice loose set of Droids and Ewoks with real accessories is going to run me $5000 maybe when it’s all said and done?  Maybe a little more.  It’s to the point where a few of them are even hard to find listings of in good shape.  Everything is carded
Or AFA’d.

Got a Nikto today... I don't see any real difference.  The paint maybe is applied slightly differently, but there's no new washes or aging or color changes... I'm going to return the new one.  Not the best photo... but here they are:



I ordered all four and will just check them one at a time and get my $70 back.

Another weird one with Amazon and this wave.... They're all $11.99 on their site.  So far the prices I've been charged after taxes are:

Skiff Lando:  $13.22
Leia:  $12.95
Endor Han:  $13.22
Biker Scout:  $13.19
Palpatine:  $13.22

I don't care, but why would these be different at all?

Cardboard insert?  I've' gotten 4 of the six so far, all in their own box, the box size slightly too small for the card so every one of them was severely bent.

I open them, it doesn't matter... but I've never seen Amazon try particularly hard to get stuff to you without card or bubble damage.

Does and posts about those legs. 

Has anyone seen comparison pictures of the Chewbacca and past versions with this sculpt?  If the paint is new I’ll open it regardless.
