2021 TVC 3.75" Troop Builder Sets

Same.  With Hasbro’s super fast processing and shipping, and the holiday… it should only be like 10 or 12 more days.

I got my Rebel Soldier troop builder pack from Pulse today.

Mine arrived today as well. Overall, I really like the set. The removable caps are a nice touch but they do kind of look a little like this...

Yeah, like what the hell am I supposed to do with their goggles?  They don’t fit in any way that I’ve been able to discern yet.

It was difficult to get the goggles on the original release.  I think those are destined for a parts bin.

I managed to get them on the top of the hat.

Yeah, you can loop them on the top of the hat or if you pass the bottom of the helmet (scarf first) through the goggles and then smush that onto the figure's head, you can position them over the eyes of the figure and around the helmet in a kinda normal looking manner.

I tried swapping heads with the rebels from the Fleet Trooper pack and the neck posts on the Fleet troopers is a little larger than the Hoth troopers.  While you can get the Hoth trooper heads on the Fleet Troopers, you can't do the reverse.

I don't exactly know what it is about this set, but I'm not feeling it.

Maybe it's the fact that I already have more 212th Clone Troopers than I need.  Maybe it's the fact that the missing black stripe at the top of the helmet bugs me.  I know the Clone Wars clones didn't always have that black line at the top of the helmet, but it just makes the helmet look off to me. 

I'm just not feeling like I need to spend $56 here.  I'll wait for the inevitable 501st or Shocktrooper 4-packs.

I think we're looking at the next three or four troop builder packs.  Possible exception would be a Dark Trooper set, which Hasbro replied to me during a livestream that they were looking into.

I just looked at the rest of my 212th Clones and none of them have a black stripe on their helmet, so I'm ok with these.
