A nice wave. A lot of it's reusing old parts aswell, could all that gear come with one rebel?
I really like the Ugnaut 2 pack ,especially the nod to the vintage figure.

Incidently, Big Bad toy Store say according to direct confirmation from Hasbro the BAD for this wave is now U3PO.

Yeah I'm treating them as not so much replacements, but just more Ugnaughts.  I'd like the hunchback human looking one now.  I'm not gonna retire the originals though.  They were good in their own right.

Well now that puts a damper in this wave for me. So it's an off-gold almost TC-14 type protocol droid. Meh...

I was SO hoping for HK-47.

HK is probably the most wanted BAD for this year , I'm sure he will turn up in one wave this year.

My personal guess is the AOTC wave- due to the "potentially" uncommercial Lars.

Personally, I'm glad the BAD is U-3PO.  I really, really think the BAD needs to be film-specific to the wave.  I'm really upset that I can't get the 2 RA-7 droids without buying ROTS figures.  I have no idea who HK is either

The first thing I thought of with Luke's accessory was 2-1B's tool poking him in the palm of his hand, testing his pain receptors.  Oh, over at RS someone put together a nice little comparison of Ugnaughts:

The first has a head similar to that of the Jabba Palace Ugnaught Yoxgit:



The uniform is different enough that I'd like to see something new if they ever try to do him...but at least the head is done

Also I hope we get an Ewok Throne 3PO repaint if the BAD is U-3PO. I want me some SA protocol droid, not the odd articulation the RA BADs had.

What Diddly said...  HK's incredibly entertaining in KOTOR, but I could see them slipping him into a prequal (less protocol droids to pick from it seems) or EU wave.  U-3PO suits me fine.  HK's a really cool droid in the game though, for sure, and probably one of the more funny/entertaining characters in all of Star Wars if for no other reason than he calls humans "meatbags" constantly.

I'm almost skeptical they'd make him a BAD figure though too...  Unless they confirmed it in a Q&A?  He seems popular enough from KOTOR to get a carded figure, not essentially a "free" figure.

Yes, originally they confirmed HK-47 was going to be the BaD for this wave in a November Q&A session...

Looks like the last of this wave was confirmed in Scum's Q&A this week -

- Medical Frigate Luke
- Medical Frigate Leia
- Hoth Rebel Soldier
- Captain Needa
- Ugnaught
- Emperor (Evo sculpt with new head)
with a Build-A-Droid HK-47

So either A) BBTS is mixed up or B) something happened that caused a delay in HK-47 (maybe they are saving him for a later wave or had a tooling issue or something).  I guess we wait and see...

I can't see Hasbro changing the BAD for this wave in light of what they said about HK-47 only a month or so ago.  I think it's more likely that some bad info got sent to the e-tailers.

Staying true to the movie theme would be fine by me....if they chose E-3PO, which is the name for that Cloud City protocol droid.  U-3PO is the chrome protocol droid from the Tantive IV.

Nice find. Lack of skirt aside, Hasbro really came through with this character.
