Good god!  If they look like that going into your mouth can you imagine what they'd look like coming out the other end?

I think because CW is aimed at kids, that they don't really need to make many more figures.  Sure, I could think of dozens I'd like, but the kids want the clones, and heroes.  At this point, the line should be mostly profit with little development of new product.  It's a cash cow.

But, my interest is much lower, while I still dig the show.

I've been AWOL for a while out here.  It was nice to meet everyone in NY, and I'm sorry that my schedule didn't allow for more time together.

Good going!  I have yet to see any of these.  I recently moved and I am still getting a sense of what stores are close enough to hit on a regular basis.  I don't have as many options as I did, however, I now live much close to a Wal-Mart, so that's a plus.

See you guys friday.---Mike

As of today, I will be at the show on Friday.  So, how do we all recognize each other. I'm easy to spot at a convention, I never wear t-shirts!  I'm looking forward to the Hasbro panel, as I've never been to one before.

Sorry I can't help with the touristy stuff.  I did take my boys to the Empire State Building recently.  It takes a long time to get through all of the lines, but on a clear day it's worth it.

Would friday night after the Hasbro presentation be good for people to get togteher?

Urine on the subway?  Don't get all John Rocker on us. =)  Maybe in the 70s, but NYC is pretty clean and tidy these days.  So, I guess we should all at least get together for the Q&A on Friday afternoon.

I think this is a nice looking figure, as I have no conection to the character at all.  What I like about it is that Hasbro added wrinkles in the clothing so that it looks less superhero-ish, and a bit more practical.

As far as spoiler, hasn't this game been out for years?

I don't mind that piece, but I've seen some of the other illos and some of them are pure crap.  And, yes, I can say that as a professional illustrator.

What confuses me about Lucasfilm's choices is that they have so much amazing stuff in their archives, why create new, weak, stuff?  The front of the box alone is a terrible, terrible drawing.  I'm really not sure what they were going for.

I don't doubt that the stories in the OT and PT will be remade one day.  I'm pretty sure tha TCW has at least two more seasons, and then I bet they move into another era.  Either something very old, or something between E3 and E4.  Also, I think Filoni and staff has shown enough smarts that they could create something from scratch.  Some era that hasn't been done to death in EU.

Also, if the movie stories are ever redone, I'd love to see them animated like the CW.  Imagine ANH stretched out like in the radio drama...I think there's some cool very cool ideas that could easily keep SW alive and current for another 10 years.

Going by the SDCC schedule, Hasbro presented on Friday.  I'm hoping they do the same this year.  I will look around for some places close to the Javitz center, then send them around.  I really would like to meet some of you this year.---Mike

Yeah.  This was a good flick.  My sons, 5 and 7 even liked it, an it was not too violent for them.

However, as a movie, it doesn't hold a candle to Rise of the Planet of the Apes.  That was pure genius.
