The Prequel Trilogy / Re: Episode III's big surprise REVEALED!
« on: April 14, 2004, 08:14 AM »
I really don't think that Zam will play any further part in the series. If you ask someone who has seen the films but is not a huge star wars fan who Zam is and they'll give you a blank look.

Her name's only mentioned once and the vast amount of people who watch the films but don't religiously find out the back ground of every character will not know who she is.  And as Geoge does not do flash backs I can not see how he'll make any refference to her.

Jar Jar on the other hand is well known to the pulic, tries to bring down the Jedi at every opportunity and was expelled from Gunga city for reason unknown...probably because of his secret shape shifting abilities.

It's almost certain, being a politician, that Jar Jar would be able to erase files, and order a clone army to put the Gungun's back on the political map.  His your man officer!  8)

Ok, the email had been sent to my junk mail folder for some reason.  Have now seen it and am most impressed.  The fighting looks full on, Anakin looks mean as hell, what was C3PO doing when he fell over??

This could work as a positive thing for George who must be fairly pissed off about it going round the net.  All the fans seem happy with what they saw.   :o

There is a lot of good acting in there, but you'll be pleased to know that George is working on it.  On filmfacts.com George was quoted as saying he intends to edit out all acting and replace it with CGI poor slap-stick gags, can't wait!!

The Prequel Trilogy / If only...

We can sort of work out now what happens in Episode 3, there's a damn good plot outline on this site and theforce.net as well as a few others having a pretty good idea what's going to happen, who is killed and by who etc. So is there anything, or any characters you really would liked to have seen in E3.

ME-
A bit more of the clone wars would have been cool, or more after the Emperor comes to power and about the underground resistance movements that form into the rebellion come about.

Like it, he made C3PO from scratch, so there's no reason he couldn't 'build himself'.  It's quite symbolic as well, how HE destroys the last of Anakin by recreating himself as a 'technical terror.'   How ironic then that it is Vader who has the line 'this technical terror is no match for the force'

How true vader, how true.

Yes, but Syfo Dyas was dead at the time the clones were ordered in his name, so who was pretending to be Syfo dyas, Dooku, Anakin, Qui Gon, Jango, Palpatine or Zam.  My monies on Dooku ordering the clones and Anakin erasing the file.  Both probably think they're doing the right thing at the time.

But then when Obi-wan turned up on Kamino they thought he was Syfo-dyas.  So this either means that Zam's Syfo-dyas impression looks exactly like Obi-wan, Syfo-dyas does genuinly look like Obi-wan or that all humans look a like to Kaminoans and they mistook him.

The most obvious possibility is though that Syfo made the order over the phone and never needed to be seen at all, which kinda destroys the whole Zam is syfo theory, it was nice though... :(

"If the Jedi that die in the film are "real Jedi" then they will take some clones with them"  ....What??? Does this mean there are cloned Jedi? or are they saying that the Jedi are now fighting the clone troopers?

The Prequel Trilogy / Who is this girl?
« on: September 8, 2003, 01:53 PM »

Last week, as OCB noted, there was a picture of a Moff that had a striking resemblance to a young Vader, coincidence? No!  They put it there for a reason, a clue possibily of what is to come in the next film.  And now what do they have?  Aurra Sing, the bounty hunter that George insisted on sticking in Episode 1 at the last moment.  I think she’ll have a role in Episode 3, no huge, but certainly influential.

“Aurra continued to kill Jedi as the Republic began to decay and crumble around her.”  That’s taken from the official star wars databank.  So does anyone think she’ll play a major role?  Take any big name Jedi scalps?

There was a post on theforce.net saying that the opening scroll will explain that the clone war is over and that supreme chancellor Palpatine has been captured by the separatists!!!  This would give him a good way of leading the battle on the side of the Separatists.  He could be in their base and no one would be suspicious.  In comes Ani and Obi to the rescue.  After their space battle they land on the separatist home-world where Ani takes out Dooku!

Go over there and check it out, I'm getting excited now, only two years to wait!
