Two things.

1)  Word around the league is that Culpepper is on thin ice.  There are even whispers of Harrington taking over if Culpepper doesn't figure it out soon (remember he was god awful last year before he got hurt).

2)  Just a hung, but I think the Saints are going to score an ass load of points tonight.  The stadium thing alone is going to have them on cloud 9.  Even though I personally hope you don't win just because I'm further behind you in the standings than the Armadillos, I think you probably will.

So the key here is to score less and you win? :P  I finally put together a half-assed weekend from my guys and I end up losing.

Trust me, scoring fewer points doesn't add up to wins.  This is the first game I won and I needed 20 points from my kicker and 20 points from my QB to get it done.

Bucs... oh Bucs...  My lament:

Finally score some points, finally play some defense... manage a 1 point lead with under 2:00 left...

3rd and about 5 - the Panthers have used all their time outs...  a 1st down wins the game...

Deep to Galloway!?

WTF?

I'm as big a Gruden fan as there is, but the people in Tampa calling for his head got some serious ammunition on that one...  maybe Galloway was just supposed to draw double coverage off of the underneath guys and Simms threw it to him anyway... who knows.

Next thing you know we're punting - and Kasay (great for my fantasy team...) seemed to have a lock on fieldgoals over 50 yards.  a little over a minute later it's over.

And Chris Simms is out for probably 2 months... ruptured spleen (removed last night), happened during the game... and the kid kept playing.  Wow.

0-3.

Fair enough - I'm betting that by next weekend you'll be starting him though.

I don't think it's fair to put TO on your list of woes until he actually misses a game - the radio here has him saying that the plate is in and he's cleared to play once he feels like it doesn't hurt to catch a pass.

Theoretically he can't damage the finger.

Yeah, I figured you'd be able to appreciate the injury woes I'm going through right now.

I've got about a 10 point lead with only a few weeks to go - I should be okay but my hopes of bouncing back for a silver or gold are about dead.

It's a two horse race.

Well my team is packing it in...

My pitching was already hurting and in the last two weeks I've lost Halladay, Papplebon and Isringhausen for the year.

Now if I can just hold onto third place for the bronze...  :-\

Rothlisberger isn't going to get his legs back under him by the Steelers playing batch.

He'll be fine - and starting him was the right move even if the result wasn't good for the Steelers.

Yeah but schedules could throw a head-to-head game off when it comes to fairness.

Rotisserie means everyone gets the same number of games.

wow... texas is usually one of the lower states and i have seen no lower than $2.13.

Around Dallas the best I've seen is 2.23 - but most places are still around 2.35 or 2.40

Nah, it's more like he paid $175 million because he really really wanted to have a building named after him.
