Fritz,

On the medical droid bat, how did you remove the cobra insignia?

Thanks,

When I first saw this version of the Crobra BAT, I thought it looked alot like one of the concept Medical Droids. LMK what you think.

Imperial Bomber Crew
« Reply #856 on: August 10, 2007, 08:50 PM »
During the last days of Galactic Civil War, the increasingly desperate Imperial navy began retro fitting Imperial Troop Shuttles into heavy bombers. These terror weapons were used to carpet bomb the cities of Rebelious worlds when Imperial Star Destroyers could not be spared for orbital bombarment. The transport pilots were hastely trained in atmospheric bombing techniques. Even though the shuttles were heavily armored and fitted with five defensive Quad laser turrets, the low-tech bombing stradegy, left the ships vaunerable to the defenses of many of the low-tech backwater worlds they were bombing. The casualties of these pilots were among the highest of any the Navy's bomber squadrons. Even though the the stradegy was deemed wasteful, by Imperial tachticians, the Imperial bureaucracy insisted on the continued use of these craft until Grand Admiral Thrawn took control over the Imperial remenant.

Here is my latest project. I was going for a WWII bombardier look. LMK what you think.

CIS Turret Droid

This is my entry for this months Yakfinities Challenge, "DROIDS OF WAR". LMK what you think.

CIS Turret droids, are coventionaly camoflagued, walking turrets, that are best suited for ambush tactics, due to their slow rate of movement. However what they lack in speed, they more than make up for in fire-power.

I checked these out on ebay last night. Very nice set of figures. I like the CIS Turret Droid the best. Is the Trandoshen Warlord's body a POTC crew member body?

Imperial Desert Troopers (In Short Pants)
« Reply #863 on: August 22, 2007, 11:10 PM »
I've been working on an Imperial Desert Platoon, with the look and feel of the German Afrika Korps. I wanted to make some of the troopers wearing short uniforms like some of the Afrika Korps had. It took me a while to finally come up with a recipe that works, using the marvel Showdown figs, so here are the results. LMK what you think.

Cool! That Trandoshen Warlord is more complicated than it looks. Nice blending.

Chagrian Commando
« Reply #867 on: August 26, 2007, 09:31 PM »
After Senator Palpantine's plot to remove Chancellor Valorum from power, was initiated. Mas Amedda, took desperate measures, to insure that his place as the Chancellor's right hand would be preserved. He ordered Chagrian Black-Ops Commandos, to assasinate potential rivals for his position. Alarmed by this threat to his grand plot Senator Palpantine ordered a secret investigation by his personal Senate guard, to find out who was responsable for these high profile assasinations.
The answer was revealed to him quickly. He ordered his guard to bring Mas Amedda to a secret location deep within the bowls of Coruscant. There he revealed his true self to the the Chagrian politician and his person guard. As Darth Sidious, He struck down his guardsmen and brought Mas Amedda within an inch of his life using Sith Lightning. Seeing the fear in the Chagrian, he new he could count on his loyalty. He would use that fear, that power to keep Mas Amedda useful until a more appropriate human could be put in his place.

Here is my latest project LMK what you think.

Techno Union Mangler Droids
« Reply #869 on: September 2, 2007, 01:47 PM »
Durring the Clone Wars the paranoid leader of the Techno Union, Wat Tambor, had two specialized droids created to use as his bodyguards. These modular droids could be fitted with a variety of armements. Wat being a paticularly sadistic being preferred them fitted with pike like appendages, so he could enjoy seeing his enemies or business rivals impaled. When the newly ordaned Darth Vader was confronted by these droids on Mustufar he made short work of them by using the Force and tossing them off a cliff into a river of Molten Lava.

Here is my latest Order66Customs project. LMK what you think.
