Tigra seems to be the popular one here.  :)  Pretty cool figure - more sturdy than some of Hasbro's other female Legends.  I'll see if I can track one down for you guys.

And thanks for mentioning the Ares wave, Brian...I forgot to say that they were packing Spidey, Heroes Reborn Iron Man and War Machine with these cases as well.  I'm assuming those were the "leftovers" from when the Ares wave was out on the shelves (that was the case in my area) and that they probably won't re-release the other figures from that wave.

I found the Daredevil/Iron Man/Silver Surfer TRU set the other day.  I'd take the DD, maybe the IM, but the SS made it in easy pass at $30.

Also found the Nemesis Legends wave on a mini late-night toy run after having a few beers last night.  Probably rip 'em open this afternoon.

This doesn't bother me personally because I was considering trying the digital comic site out anyway, but man...what a hose down.  I think this promotion is going to fail miserably.

I was looking into it a while back simply because I'm unfamiliar with so many storylines.  I think it was $10 a month or $60 a year if you go that route.  Super lame if that's what they're expecting collectors to do for a figure.

Anyone seeing the Nemesis wave hitting Wal Marts?  I've seen a few on eBay but nothing at my local stores (went to four of them this morning).  I need a Tigra if anyone can grab one for me.  :)

This show has lost a lot of its appeal to me.  It has its funny moments but nothing that kills me with gut laughter like it used to.  Michael has gone from being a likeable idiot to an unlikeable dumb****, Jim doesn't have the comedic impact that he once did, and the side characters seem to be even more minimally important than before.  Dwight is still funny but kind of underutilized.  I don't know...I usually miss it during its normal airtime and as each week goes by I find myself less and less interested in going back and watching the DVR'd episode.

Brian, thanks for the heads up.  We have two Gordman's in the area and they both had a similar selection - Batman, Power Girl, Star Sapphire, Qwardian, Batgirl, Wildcat...a couple of others.  I picked up a Batman, Batgirl and Power Girl and was real close to getting the others.  $2 a piece is hard to pass up.

OK, I'm having a bitch of a time with the drums, which is the primary reason I hadn't played it since January.  It seems the orange pad (ride/cymbal) doesn't like to register when I'm playing a song.  I've tried hitting it in the middle with the tip of the stick, on the sides like a crash...it doesn't like it either way.  I try it in free style mode and it obviously works...it just doesn't seem to register right in the song.  And no, it's not because I suck.  :)  Anyone else have this issue?

Nah, I had help with around half of them.  I used to have a huge collection of around 400+ games but ended up selling them all once I discovered emulators.  After realizing it just wasn't the same I started collecting again and now have maybe 115 games.

The Mars Volta - The Bedlam in Goliath

This album is growing on me even more each time I listen to it.  The arrangements are absolutely mind-blowing and the whole thing has such a bizarre tone.  I'm diggin' it.

I reluctantly bought Wii Fit a while back but have had a lot of fun with it.  My initial thought when it came out was "can't I do this at a gym or with a yoga video?" but this game makes it pretty fun.

BTW, for those of you that like the original NES, I have gone live with my little project.  I wanted to wait until I had cartridge scans of every game before I went live with it, but nearly 600 out of 750ish isn't bad for starters.  :)

According to MarvelousNews, Hasbro has announced the "pick 5" winners from the Marvel Universe Fan's Choice poll.

Not a bad selection, except maybe Mary Jane.  I'm curious whether Mystique will be the version we saw as a Legends figure with the white garb or in her black or burgundy outfits.  Personally I'm rooting for the latter.

Hey everyone.  I've taken it upon myself to once again set up a league on Yahoo for the 2009 NCAA tournament.  Hope to see a few of you there.  :)
