Well, I have to take back my previous statements about EE. :-[

My Vintage ROTJ shows up today and it's the original assortment. 2 x Stormie, 2 x Fett, 1 x R2, 1 x Chewie, 1 x Lando, 1 x Vader. I didn't get shafted after all.

Those ******* ***********. Mine shipped today as well. This case was originally Fett x 2, Stormie x 2, Vader x 1, Chewie x 1, R2 x 1 and Lando x 1. I NEVER got a notice that this assortment had changed. What the **** do I want another Ben for? Now I have to go and find a Vader and Lando.

If there is anyone still looking for the ROTJ Wave and a C-3PO, you can kill too birds with one stone.  EE has Wave 3 Revision 1 in stock.  Case break down is as follows:

Boba Fett x2
R2 x1
Chewy x1
Stormie x1
Yoda x1
C-3PO x1
Obi x1

Funny  thing is I ordered this case, but Hasbro/EE cancelled it.  EE has now apparently shipped this case to me, but I don't remember it having a C-3PO in this case assortment.  Maybe Hasbro realized they shortpacked him in Wave 2.5 and are now shipping him in later revision assortments?

I JUST NOW checked my hotmail to find this ******* notice. And here I was all smug that I didn't have to hunt these down. ************!

or am I sitting here ******* off and missing figures at retail because I think EE is going to come through? I'm waiting on the OTC Wave 11 and VOTC Wave 3 pre-orders.

Currently I own a 1992 Thunderbird SC, and a 1994 Chrysler Le Baron Convertible.

I remember those T-Birds when they came out. Nice car! Before I swore off domestics, I really wanted one. That and a '94 LT1 Impala SS.

i too am very much into cars. i am trading in my explorer v8 for a new rx8. I was looking at both the sti and the 350, but the 350 drives very stiff and the sti was too small inside. the rx 8 is nice, and it drives nice. i cant wait to pick it up on tuesday

Nice choice. The gutless low-end is a deal breaker for me, but overall I liked the car.  I'd have to do it up like that Mazdaspeed version that's floating around though. What color are you getting? I've got a friend that works for Rotary Performance in Garland, TX and they picked up 20HP at the wheels w/the Greddy exhaust. No ****.

Any other modders or track guys/gals around these parts? I dumped a beautiful 350Z back in April for a Subaru STi which I just completed some additional mods on this weekend. I live to get behind the wheel and hit the track, a real road course with left AND right turns.  I have a membership to a private track (Motorsport Ranch in Cresson, TX) and try and make it out every other weekend. I also have an '03 Civic Si hatch daily-driver that's bone stock and staying that way. Number one, I don't see the point in modding a Civic and Number two, see Number one. ;)

As a result of all I spend on the cars, the collection does take a back seat, but I am going to complete the OTC and VOTC collections before I take a break again. Here's a few pics of the old and new rides. Show me your cars!

****.  That sucks.  The starfield design is what makes it look "Star Wars"...   :-\

That's a serious bummer.  I still like the header, but the lack of Star Destroyers on the sides blows too.

Dumb Hasbro.   >:(

No ****. Hey, Hasbro, I can MAKE a black box.  ::)

Well, it's been over a month now since I scored all 20 of the first OTC at once. I've been able to grab the New Hope VOTC wave as well as a VOTC Yoda at retail in that time, but haven't seen a damn thing as far as the OTC goes.

I bit the bullet and ordered the OTC Wave 11 case and VOTC Wave 3 case from EE so all I really need to find at retail is OTC #s 21,22,26,27,28 and VOTC C-3PO. I gotta admit, I'm getting kinda worried about finding those OTC figs on the shelves around here.

I ordered VOTC Wave 3 and OTC Wave 11 last night. Now all I have to do is find Luke, C3PO and Yoda VOTC and 21, 22, 26, 27 and 28 OTC at retail.

How does EE ship these things? Do they pack the Hasbro case into a larger box, or just drop ship the Hasbro box?

Brought home a haul tonight from the local Super Target.

VOTC Han, Ben and Leia
12" Gray Fett
Wave 1 of Galactic Heroes
Unleashed Leia

I'm glad my wife went to the restroom while I was checking out. Only my five month-old knows I dropped $102 tonight.  :-[

Also, a couple of aisles over they had 10 pegs of Cartoon Network Clone Wars figs on clearance for $3.98 ea. The nice thing is that they were case fresh on crisp card backs. Good way to complete the set if you missed out the first time although I passed because I just don't like the Clone Wars cartoons. (Blasphemy?!?)

Happy Hunting!

yeah, that's a great collection. must have taken a while to get every figure  as nice and straight as you did, especially with leaving all the space in between the figures. what are you using to hold your carded figures to the wall? nails? thumb tacks?

The figures are held by those clear, plastic pushpins. I eyeball everything I hang. Once you get a couple up and straight the rest are easy. I knock 'em out like laying tiles and if someone is handing them to me in an assembly line fashion, I can average one figure every 15 seconds or so. The fun of putting them up is short lived.

Just chiming in here. Found an entire fresh case one lazy day at Wal*Mart. $14.99 and only picked up the one, but it was a perfect card. Wish I had snagged a couple of others for trade fodder.

already of the POTF2 version, but DAMN Hasbro if they didn't go and make a pretty cool Y-Wing with a significant enough re-paint to make me want it.

RS has the pics up here. Hit the "next" button once you're there to see three more.
