That Durge looks AWESOME! I sure hope my wife finds that for me, since I don't have any luck finding new figures anymore.
-
Thanks for the pics and tip boba_jp...Durge does look better than I thought, I have a funny hunch he may be in Episode III as well. Dang
-
Holy hell!
Durge does look awesome, as does that Speederbike. I will probably be passing on the Clonetrooper version, but I do like the paint scheme on that Speederbike...
:P

Sweet mother of... man does that Durge look nice! 8)

Mmm, I like the durge figure, but was it indicated that it would be a deluxe figure earlier or is this another version??
The clone trooper bike is nice too, good redeco. But for the life of me, I cannot get the accursed figure to sit on it properly. There better be a whole lot of protection in the crotch of that armor if they really sit that way :o

I'm in love with DURGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
(Sorry Dustrho!)

I found Durge and Clone Trooper on Speeder today at Meijer. Durge is OK, strange looking, but cool in an EUeey kind of way. I laughed out loud when I looked at the Clone Trooper, enough said. Crap, crap, crap. :D

And the articulation is FANTASTIC on Durge. Ball socket & grooves at the neck, shoulders, elbows, and knees. Torso rotation ala Joes. Then hands that rotate at the wrist to grasp swoop handles or pistols.
Just amazing. That said, I think he looks pretty Eu-ish, like you mentioned Chris. Almost in a GI Joe Cobra Commander kind of way. Regardless, it shows what could come of the new Ultra line if they create, say, a Biker Scout, with equal articulation and revised OT speeder. :D Sweetness.

After watching the Clone Wars cartoons, I had to have Durge. I ordered the deluxe speederbike figure, and damn, this is a really nice set.
The articulation alone on this figure is amazing. Ball jointed neck, ball jointed shoulders, ball jointed elbows, swivelling wrists, ball jointed torso, hips, and ball jointed knees. And the speederbike kicks ass too!
I didn't like the Durge character at first. In fact I hated him. And in the comic books (Republic) he's a little hokey. But man, in the cartoon he is bad ass. And I dig those metallic groans and laughs.
Anyone else pick this one up? Has your opinion of this character changed since the Clone Wars cartoon?

the deluxe figure is great, the regular figure i wasn't thrilled with. but yeah, the durge and his bike are both awesome.
-
Yep, I couldn't agree with you more Lando. When you're right, you're right. And, you, you're always right!
I've ended up getting 2 of the swoop Durges and 1 of the regular version. The swoop version is 10X better, plus the swoop is great.
:P

Yes, i agree also, I picked up 2 Durge with Speederbike, that is actually the only deluxe figure i am interested in getting, besides the new Ultra, but it is great i give it 2 thumbs up ;)

Sorry if this has been covered before but..................
Is anyone else mightily peeved with the soft plastic used in the Clonie's Speeder Bike?
I have only had mine out for a few days and the front vane type thing already hits the floor.
Why oh why did they not use the same plastic as the POTF2 Speeder Bikes?
-
Unfortunately, this seems to be an ongoing problem with a lot of Star Wars product these days... >:(
:P

We've been talking about it in the customs section with several possible remedies, feel free to jump in the discussion....

Yeah, I'm also disappointed that it doesn't "sit" properly. It leans forward; its not balanced like the POTF bikes.
-
Yes it is bendy. The problem that I am havingi s keeping the big cannon on the bike. It keeps falling off.

If your not worryed about Mint and such, why not use a little super glue?

I have been peeved about this since the first release of this speeder, way to flimsy plastic. They just have to notice this in testing the toy. I wonder why they could'nt fix this in the new Clone Wars one?
-
To all the openers out there, this is the one thing you would really want to keep carded because it's crap displayed loose.
