As a musician, I've always loved the Modal Nodes and the Max Rebo Band (original not SE) and I remember getting pretty excited about a rumor that Hasblo was going to make a 12" Max Rebo Band set. Of course, that never came to fruition but how about SideShow doing one? It'd fit into the whole Jabba's Palace motif they've already got going!
That'd be sweeeeeeet!

I would love the rebo band. Now that would make an awesome box set of the 3 members.

I would like to see a droids line. I would love to see what Sideshow could do with IG-88.

IG-88 would probally be in the "Scum & Villany" line, while other droids could fitted elsewhere. R2 & 3PO in "Rebellion", R4 & G9 in a "Republic" line, R5-D4,Gonk,etc... in Scum, sinnce they'll probally be packed with Jawas. I'd also like to see the Rebo band, thoughs guys would probally be the last of my 12" Place collection.
I want to see the two Fetts, imperial/ Republic troopers or Vader soon. My guess is Vader & a Stormie should be out next year for the 30th anniversary.

I am sure that when Sideshow does a Greivous he will be a huge improvement over the Hasbro one. I don't see him being done soon however since he would be entirely a new sculpt, no reuse of the human body. I think it would be nice to get an all new sculpt next in the line but we know Padme will be announced soon so she may very well be next. If the next figure is going to use the standard body I am hoping for a Royal Guard.

This is more of a wish than anything else, but I would definitely like to see Count Dooku added to the Lords Of The Sith line. But then there's the matter of just how long can that line last? There really aren't that many Sith in the entire Saga of films, unless we start getting into different versions of Sidious and Vader, etc.

Since the militaries line is what I'm aiming for only, I'm looking forward to a Hoth Rebel Soldier... Their uniforms are intricately designed so I'd like to see what SS is capable of coming up with. Hasbro's Hoth figures featured some of the only decent detail that line ever churned out so SS has its work cut out for them I think...
Add to that all the details like all the troops having a sidearm, the bulky modular backpacks, the detail of the hat/hood/helmet and such... I think it'll be interesting to see.
I'd love to see SS going the route of Dragon with their uber details, like undershirts, underwear, suspenders, "survival" gear, etc... I'd pay the premium price I think for a soldier where you got EVERYTHING he would've had in the field. From a cold weather shelter to eating utensils, I'd buy it for sure, even if not seen in the films.

I know it's got to be coming in 07 but Vader. That's the one I want to see them make next. I am hoping for a ROTJ version w/ removeable helmet, etc.

I see Bossk as a possible choice since BHs are popular, but I don't see any cantina guys (well maybe Greedo) for a while. Momaw would be cool though.

Bounty Hunters would be cool, with Boba and Bossk of course. A great exclusive could have Boba with a removeable helm. I would definitely like to see Vader, Dooku and the Emperor in the Sith line

I'd rather see that as the regular figure & have a concussion gun or something as the exclusive.

Sideshow really needs to announce a new item soon, as much as i love the random accessory packs, i think its time for a real character. I hope we get one soon, in addition to the CIV figure.

Agreed. I've nearly lost all interest in the line since they've spent so much time and energy on the Endor soldiers and then the Jabba figure, display and creatures. It's time to announce a central character to generate interest again.

I was all over this line in the beginning but just recently sold all of my figures because of the character selection and lack of nothing new outside of heads and hands.
The chess table is ridiculous and was the straw that broke the camel's back.

I like the random things, i really do think they are great and am happy with them, but i think it was a poor choice to offer them back to back. The chess set should have come later (unless it goes witht he CIV exclusive). I think Bubo and the chess back to back is the problem. We need a character we all want. We need something to wow us again, we were spoiled with Jabba.

Well i am happy we got 2 new announcements, but just to play devil's advocate for a moment, why release another Leia so soon. ;)
With that said, i am happy with the choices. I think that Leia in white is the more iconic look and want one very much.

I am up for the Leia. I am not all that excited about the Celebration Luke. Although it does make perfect sense for Celebration IV.

I don't think so. Not yet. Unless they try to use it as a SDCC or something exclusive.
That is why I opted for the Bespin one when I found a deal on it.
I will be happy with the OT Trio for now.

So what do you guys think SDCC will bring this year? Last year they showed off Jabba the Hutt and friends. Anyone else hoping for another large scale item? I personally would like a new Wampa, I always thought Hasbro's version was too small. Here is hoping for something to blow us away again this year. ;D

My interest has faded in the line, but something like a TIE Fighter Pilot or Snowtrooper would really grab my attention again.

Sideshow had a Q&A where the possibility of Hoth figures were discussed. I know I'd like to see Leia done (I know, I know, another Leia?).
Anyway accessories could include stormtrooper rifle ungloved hands, Bespin boots, oxygen mask and another head with loose braids.
Exclusive version can come with torch and goggles.
