Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Last Time You Threw Up
« on: April 1, 2006, 10:02 PM »
I haven't thrown up in several years. And I'm glad. I hate throwing up. It's one of my two biggest fears. The other fear is escalators.

I've been more into choking lately, though. Two or three years ago I choked on a LEGO piece, but gave myself the Himelick Manuever. (So, I saved my own life.)
And then a few month ago I was being chased by my brother. How does that lead to choking. Well, I had a handful of jumbo marshmallow in my mouth.
That was a bad mistake.

Wow, fantastic story, Brent. I really enjoyed it. I hope you continue. The effects were great, as was the plot. It wasn't action packed, but I thought that it was very suspenseful. I can't wait to find out what happens to the little Jawa. Great job!!!

Revenge of the Sith / Re: ROTS Recent Purchases
« on: April 1, 2006, 04:53 PM »
I got a 500th edition Darth Vader figure from Wal-Mart for $5. I though it was funny, because they had the Hoth Vader, which is the same figure, for $6.63.

Saga Collection '06 / Re: Battle of Endor Wave
« on: April 1, 2006, 04:50 PM »
Paul, I was hoping for a new Endor Rebel too.  Sorely needed (as are all SA Rebel figures really), and I had hope...  I didn't have a LOT of hope though and I figured it was inevitably going to be a Saga or POTF2 trooper repainted.  I don't even think we'd have gotten a kitbash out of them on that one.

I'm with you on this, in fact, there is no better candidate for an Evolutions set in the future than the Rebel trooper, spanning the Tantive IV, Hoth, and Endor.  That one would be a slam dunk.

I think a Rebel Soldier Evolutions set would be cool. Pack in a few different guns, some backpacks, survival gear, and some other tools, with working holsters and removable helmets. Possibly two sets, each with different head variations.

Saga Collection '06 / Re: Heads Up- Hasbrotoyshop.com Catalog
« on: April 1, 2006, 04:46 PM »
Just curious, how do you get one of these catalogs? Do you have to have ordered from Hasbro Toy Shop, or will they mail one if they have your adress? (Like if you sent in the Early Bird Certificate.)

So, was this an April Fools joke or not. It would be awesome if it was true, but I think it may be a joke. Well, not even a joke, more like a hoax, since it's not funny.

Happy April Fools!!!   ;D

The Prequel Trilogy / Re: ROTS Deleted Scenes
« on: March 28, 2006, 09:08 PM »
Most of the deleted scenes are rather boring, actually.

I'll just turn off King Kong, pop in the ROTS DVD and get you that list, and a summary for each.

1.Grievous Slaughters a Jedi/Escape from the General(Animatic)
Shaak Ti was abducted by Greivous, so Obi and Ani find them, and Shaak Ti is executed by Greivous. Obi and Ani cut there way through the floor,  and go into this fuel chamber/tank. The fuel explodes after Obi and Ani seel the hatch they came out of, and I think the explosion leads to the Cruiser splitting in half later.

2.A stirring in the Senate(Bail's Office)
Padme is introduced to the Senators who will later form the Rebel Alliance, like Bail Organa and Mon Mothma. They are talking about ways to resist Palpatines rule, since he is gaining too much power.

3.Seeds of Rebellion(Padme's Apartment)
The same group of Senators talk about giving Palpatine a Petition to let Palpatine know that there are many Senators who are not happy with his rule.

4.Confronting the Chancellor(Palpatine's Office)
Padme and her Senator friends present the Petition of 2000 to Palpatine.

5.A Plot to Destroy the Jedi?
This is much like the scene at the Hologram Battle Map in the Jedi Temple, except Mace, Obi-Wan, and Yoda are the only ones present, and it takes place in Yodas meditation hideout. The discussion is much the same.

6.Exiled to Dagobah
This scene is just Yoda's little pod ship landing on Dagobah. That's all. No lines, or anything.

Hope that helps you.

The Prequel Trilogy / Re: Top 25 Worst Sequels Ever Made
« on: March 28, 2006, 08:41 PM »
Well, all in all, I like the Prequel Trilogy A LOT MORE than the Original Trilogy, so whoever put TPM on that "Worst Sequels list" can, well, I guess he/she can do a lot of things, but I'd like that person to take TPM off of that list.

And then jump off of a bridge. Or fall off of the Empire State Building, like King Kong.

The Original Trilogy / Re: Why Lucas tinkered with Star Wars!

Its way too much and he won't shell it out (well maybe when people start sending him death threats)

Heh heh heh...

Dear,
Mr. Lucas.

I want to play a game...the rules are simple.
Return the original copies of the star wars trilogy onto DVD or you will have to go through a swimming pool of broken star wars dvds and cds and you must find the unbroken original dvds.
Let the games begin...  :o

I wonder what he would think if he got something along those lines?  :P

Oh well, if he wants to screw them up let him.
I meen hes getting old and insane as the years go by I myself can only expect him to Release a "Special Special(with a capitol R) Edition" and that will be his true vision.
A luke with a purple lightsaber and everybody will have walkie talkies instead of blasters.

Oh yeah and he will replace ESB with episodes of teletubbies.

Hahahaha... That sounds like something straight out of the movie Saw. Clone Commander, is your name Jigsaw?

Anyway, I'm just happy that everyone in Indiana Jones and Star Wars wasn't digitally made into Ewoks yet. I don't really mind the changes, but if George starts adding and taking out whole scenes, then there would be something terribly wrong there. And he should be shot. But until then, what are we gonna do?

(I am talking about the changes as in the 1997 tapes, cause I have yet to see the DVD. )

Revenge of the Sith / Re: Wal-Mart "Early Bird" Exclusive
« on: March 28, 2006, 08:13 PM »
So, after sending away my certificate, I decided to go through my Saga-OTC figures, which were in a really big bin, and fill in the rest of the display. So I have all but 6 spots filled in. Here's a rundown of what figures I used:
-Han Solo=OTC Cantina Han
-Stormtrooper=Stormtrooper from ROTJ DVD 3-pack
-Darth Vader= Vader from ROTJ DVD 3-pack
-Death Squad Commander= Veers with helmet, but no chest armor
-Jawa= OTC short Jawa w/ rifle
-Ben Kenobi=OTC Cantina Scene figure
-C-3PO=Hoping to add a TSC 3PO to take that place.
-Sand People= Hoping to put in a VTSC Sand Person
As for Luke, Leia, Artoo, and Chewie, well, I'm going to use the figures that I sent away for. I'll be sure to get some pictures up once the set-up is filled in, or perhaps when I get the Early Bird figures.

I dunno, the Saga Collection is going to have a lot of Jedi Starfighters on the shelves at once. Anakins, Obi Wans, Mace's, and Vader's. I'm going to try and get both of Vader's ships, since I've never gotten an earlier versin of
Vader's TIE, and I like the Jedi Starfighters. As for the droid tanks, I'll pick them up, since I'd like to have duplicates of them. The AAT seems kind of useless, since there are no battle droids coming out to pilot it. As for someone mentioning re-releaseing the green Anakin Jedi Starfighter, I think the blue Obi-Wan Jedi Starfighter would be better, since it could be labeled as Aayla Securas Jedi Starfighter. (She flew one with the same color scheme in the Obsessions comics, and then later lent it to Obi Wan.)

I think the molded hands are both good and bad. Yes, they do look like "aint-encrusted chunks at the end of the arm" like you said, but then they couldn't break off. I've had hands from Tion Medon, Pablo Jill, Evolutions Clone Commander(Well, not yey, but about to.) and several other figures break off. So it's a bad and a good thing they got away from one piece arms/hands.
