Collector's Tips / Re: Displaying Film Cels?
« on: March 30, 2003, 12:02 PM »
I have a couple of those officiall released film cells from a few years back. I have just left them in their little plastic case. I have three different sets from the E1 VHS release. I just keep those in the box that they came in with the video.

As for film cells to display do you know about the Litho's that have a film cell with them? I have a few of these packed away. Anyways they have the film cell in the frame and there is a little button you can push to light up the cell. When you let go of the button the light goes out. You could rig up a frame with a button so you can light it up when you want to look at the cells.

That is what  I would do. I am sure that there are more ways to display them but none of those ideas have come to mind.
Well, I hope that helps.

I have her opened up. Her legs are not that bad. She can be put into many poses. A rather good female figure.

Toy Reviews / Saga E2 Electronic Yoda Saber
« on: March 30, 2003, 11:57 AM »
Today at Target I picked up the latest Electronic Lightsaber. The saber is the master of all saber, thats right it is Yoda's.

The hilt of the saber is the same size as the sabers thus far. I guess to accomadate human size hands. :)

The Blade is just around 2-feet in length. It kind of looks funny with the big hilt and short blade. But Yoda is a small guy and so it should be short.

Also this is the first Electronic Saber that I know of that comes with the Cell Phone Belt Clip thingy to attach the saber to your Jedi Belt. ;)

I think it is a nice additoin to the Electronic Lightsaber line. Any fan of these will like it or so I believe.

Overall I give this saber a 3 out of four due to the weirdness of the scale and such.

I sent a bunch of pictures to Chris so that he may post them on the main page or whatnot.

Happy Hunting for the master of all sabers.

I have the Cloud City Carbonite Chamber set from the old line. I wish I had more. Some of the best little Micro toys around from days long past.

1:6 Scale Figures and Collectibles / Re: Leia Boushh

I posted images of this set not too long ago at another site that I will no longer visit. I think the set rocks! The Carbonite Block is neat with the lightup feature to show Han inside. Pretty much like the 12" GI Joe Vietnam Memorial set a few years back.
I think the price it pretty decent for what you get.

I have one on order. I will be placing him with my other Jabba's Palace 12". For a Jabba I am using my Foam Replica Jabba that was issued a few years back.
