I'm listening to the SWTVC podcast from SWCA right now, and they interviewed Patrick and Chris.  They specifically asked about the absence of Cal Kestis and the Second Sister Inquisitor from TVC.  It sounds like Hasbro is aware but has had to make difficult choices.

It's curious why they chose the Magnaguard from this set to be the missing VC188 - I personally thought that might have been ARC Trooper Jesse.

I like the way these figures are done - they look really good.  But the Scout Trooper seems like these figures are retreading ground.  The Scout Trooper finally has the blaster, which is good, plus the shield. 

It seems like this 3-pack is deliberately geared towards a couple of things - repaints and a loose troop builder concept.  So is Hasbro banking on multiple purchases from collectors with this set?  I wonder.

I'll buy a couple of this set because it has some great world building potential, but the absence of Cal and the Second Sister is just stupid at this point.

So I received my order for 2 of these sets.  And they're really kind of underwhelming.

Yeah, I'm not sure why I bit on these kitbashes.  I like the KX droid for The Mandalorian flashbacks, but I don't need the other two and probably should have just passed completely.

I fully expect there to be a KX droid from The Night Of A Thousand Tears with The Mandalorian logo.  Hasbro is really predictable in this regard.  If they include the E-22 blaster rifle I’d be surprised.
