spectre these are great, they fit into the star wars line perfectly.  i like your back story especially "urth".  I have a couple of these guys as well and kind of thought of making them part of my SW universe as well.  they're species were basically wiped out except for a few by the jedi because of there savagery.  the original mandalorians were trained by them.  I don't remember where exactly i saw them but there are SA versions of them coming out SW sized.  I think it was on action-hq.com.  if i find it i'll forward the link.

for those that say instead of Greedo we should've gotten a DS sqaud commander >:(  are you guys crazy.  sure it'd be cool to get an SA version of him but come on army building him and the scout trooper @ $10-12 a pop  :'(  han definately has potential, i'm not really one for the trench coat either plastic or cloth either way it's comin' off.  Greedo  :-\ scout trooper  ;D gonna have to start playing the lotto and recycling those cans and bottles to get as many of these guys as i want.  can anybody say BARC Trooper repaints?  and if Hasblow is smart they'll rerelease him in that paint scheme for $6.99 and we'll all be pissed that we army built him for $10-12 instead of waiting to get him for $6.99 and just repainting him ourselves.  sand dude-opinion at a later date.  Luke kicks ass, but is it just me or does he look super pissed.

Star Wars Action Figures / Re: Daigo's SW customs and dioramas

:o  can i have one.  that's crazy and almost insane.  if it wasn't for the 3.75 figures standing in it i'd of almost thought it was life size.

the paint scheme on the left trany  ;) kicks serious a$$, very lizardy :-\  although I like the uniform of the right better.  hett really is one bad mofo, totally could not pick up on the parts used, which i usually can.  great figure definatly have to copy if i get my hands on another palpy.

how about the scout/barc trooper?  what's the difference between the pop-up "figure" pilot helmet that came with the Cruise missle trooper, i think he was called, and AT-AT/TIE Pilot.  anyway if there's anything remotely different with that guy's helmet he'd make a good addition to the Imperial ranks.

hey Jesse I went in slow mo for most of the battle scenes too and it is awesome to see all the little details that you miss when it's in regular speed.  But did you notice on Utapau the clone that jumps up on the crab changes.  you see a behind shot of him right before he runs up on it and he has these extra little do dads on his back that he doesn't have after he shoots the crab droid and turns.  on to my thoughts about this wave.  Articulation is seriously lacking in these newer waves.  I thought at first that some of these were just left overs from the last bits of the OTC waves, but this doesn't seem to be the case anymore.  it pisses me off that the other day I bought at Target the latest wave of Marvel Legends for $6.89 and they have what 30 some points of articulation and a pretty killer paint job, while these newer wave of star wars might be lucking to get 8 pionts of articulation and they're more expensive. >:(  sorry about the ranting.

jesse, couldn't agree more.  i've put a halt on doing my custom ARC's until I see if they actually release these guys.

loving that wookie.  that bith is just crazy awesome.  must be a pain stretching the bodysuit over that melon of his though.  only suggestion would be to change the belt to something a little more original.  there is a BBi, i think, figure that has belt pouches that somewhat resemble the one that of either jango or boba or both i really don't remember.  just a suggestion.  the new Kala is definately my favorite version of him.  the unhooded version reminds my of that last scene in Beattlejuice, when he takes the number from the head shrinker.  is he sportin' a blaster in the hooded version?  i think that makes him a little more rougish from the typical jedi, i like.

jeez man i don't even know where to begin.  hasbro should have a contract on their desk just waiting for you to stop by and sign it.  you're ideas and the fact that you have the skill to follow through is a real treat for all of us.  great work.

Saga Collection '06 / Re: at-at driver
« on: January 20, 2006, 01:34 PM »
jesse/pmundheim all good ideas, it has always bugged me a little and one of the reasons I don't really like the EU as much anymore is that there is so much potential there that they should elaborate that they just don't.  they seem so compacted into trying to connect everything and everyone to each other that they don't eleborate enough on what's already there, instead the fans are left to wing it on there own and guess at what some of these basically background nobodies are.  I like the battlefront games because you can have all sorts of troops basically in any and every enviro.  sorry about the rant, it's just that the AT-AT driver was my very first intro to the star wars universe and now that we've seen even more diversity and what the clones are capable of it kind of makes you think what the imperial era troops are capable of.  also upfront apology while i go on just a little bit more.  could the AT-AT driver be more of a pilot for the galactic/imperial marines flying/driving the vehicles within that military group?  while the T.I.E. fighter pilot is the naval pilot.  we see in ESB  they send in the snowtroops/galactic marine in.  isn't that the US marine forces right there first one in last ones out?  once again sorry about the rant.

while i here what you're saying jesse, i gotta have me imperial officers.  I have 4 veer's's'ss, spelling!?!?!? :-\, i liked the texture on Ozzel/Tarkin, and while they really don't seem to match up with their movie counterparts as far as the uniform coloring goes i just kind of chalk that up to different officer rank have different color uniform's.  also while a removable hat would be great everybody know that hasblow would do a halfa$$ed job at it and would wind up sucking so badly it would be warming the pegs.  now a good option would just to pack in 2 different heads 1 with hat 1 w/out hat.  also a lot of people have been saying that most of these were left overs from the OTC era so i guess i can forgive the lack of articu.  These being left overs would also explain the speed at which these seem to be coming out in some areas.
