Kubricks / Celebration Japan Wicket/Paploo Be@rbrick 2-Pack

For those wondering, these Celebration Japan Be@rs have different paintjobs on the heads from the previous versions (open mouth smiles).

It sounds like this one will be limited to 3000pieces, so they may not be that expensive to get after the show.

I guess these will be a nice way for folks to finally track down the Wicket Be@r, but I have to say it's really going to piss off those who paid $150+ to get the first Wicket version.

No details yet on just how much he's going to cost or how he'll be sold, but it was confirmed in today's Q&A Session.

I'm assuming it's just a Red repaint of the basic Clone Trooper, similar to the Blue and Yellow repaints that Jesse reported on a couple weeks ago...

Kubricks / Pepsi Nex Star Wars Be@rbrick Promo

Ugh... good luck tracking down all 16 of these little buggers.

For those unfamiliar with the Pepsi Nex promo be@rbricks, they are free promo items included when you purchase a 500mL bottle of Pepsi Nex in Japan. Over in the "other Kubricks" thread, evilalive has a nice pic of the last promo series, Pepsi Nex x Fox, which was based on some fox movies/shows.

These be@rs are usually 65-70% the size of the regular be@rs and they often have the clip screwed into their heads (as seen in the pic). From what I have gathered so far, these will be included with Pepi Nex bottles sold at Celebration Japan and there will be 16 different be@rs:

- Chewbacca
- Clone Trooper (Ep2)

- Darth Vader

Kubricks / Medicom Toy Exhibition '08 (Parco Show)

* For the newbies, The Medicom Toy Exhibition is sort of like "Kubrick Toy Fair". There are always exclusives (SW and non-SW) at the show. Almost every year they've held a show, there has been some sort of carded SW Kubrick as well as a few other things for sale or order at the show...

Since Medicom has announced the dates for this year's show (6/21 - 6/30), I thought I'd get a thread rolling so we can all spend the next 30 days hoping/praying/speculating on what we'll see...

So... what are you hoping to see? Series 10? Series 11? A new box set?

Well of the Souls / Indy Sales, Discounts, and Deals

This week at TRU all 3.75" Indy figures (Basic and DLX) are "Buy 2, Get 1 Free". That works out to about $5 each for the basic figs, even better than the Target coupon price!

I was able to grab 3x German Soldier 2-packs today for just $21.28 - about $3.50 per fig!

All I can see is a silhouette behind Anakin... I'm guessing he'll be a "big reveal" planned for SDCC'08.
