What is minimum wage in the US? $7.25 in a lot of places.  All parents aren't middle class or better. Major brand action figures are an increasingly obsolescent luxury.

Eagerly awaiting the action figure implosion that will be going on next year.

Gads. So glad I don't collect Modern GI JOE.

Freaking Raiders truck that was on clearance (i got the cloth top version!) is now recolored and $99? Ha!

I picked up the RoC version of that Copter at a yard sale....and it's mostly junk.

A few of the Oktober Guard figures look good, but the rest of this year's stuff is awful and insanely priced...moreso than usual.

My appreciation for him grew after seeing the Richard Pryor Star Wars Bar skit from 30+ years ago.

Though I like the Kenner look more than Zutton or Takeel.

Did it scan?

I found a Renegades Cobra Commander last week that didn't scan (not found). I wasn't going to pay the $5+ that was the last mark down sticker price, since I got a Duke for $3.24 a week or so earlier.

Now Snags and Tuskens aren't "strange", because really...what isn't strange in the Star Wars universe?

Walrus Man always looks for trouble almost finds it with Luke. Losing the better part of an arm isn't "almost trouble."

Hammerhead talks to anyone that will listen...at last, a correct portrayal of a cantina drunkard.

Greedo (a money collector)...sent by a grocery clerks, to collect a bill.

Hey, I got the Tusken right!

Not crazy about getting another Fett. Repaint in Kenner colors at least...

I like how Luke and Obi-Wan seeing Snaggletooth in a bar makes him a villain.

In a better world, the third pack would be Hammerhead, Walrusman, Greedo in awesome Kenner colors. It would also retail for $9.99....hey, gonna dream, I'll dream big!

Not releasing the new Naboo fighter from the get go was just foolish. Since new  tooling costs money...why aren't new mold items front loaded?

The gap between vintage and movie heroes only made the Legends replacement almost soley aimed at gift givers and kids and thus linger in stores even more. Lots of folks complained about legends, but lots of folks got snowtroopers, battle droids and clones and that spacetrooper never lingered around here.

SDCC Star Wars announcements:

The whole action figure line will be placed on hiatus until summer of 2013, so they can focus on some kiddie construction toys. The failure of Episode 1 related merchandise will be blamed. No new AOTC merchandise is planned, as the 3D release of that film will only play in select major cities and not see wide release.

No more large vehicles will be made because of low orders for the MTT, and the starfighter assortment will be cancelled, this will be revealed after the showing of a mock-up of some really awesome ship.

Lucasfilm will pull the Star Wars license from Lego so Hasbro can make Star Wars Kre-o.

Despite its success the BAD feature at Disney will be cancelled abruptly, all remaining parts to be rounded up and destroyed.

The Clone Wars cartoon will end after a 13 episode season 5. Cartoon Network announces that the new episodes will air in the show's new time slot, 4 AM on monday morning. These episodes will not be put up on Starwars.com.

New head of LucasFilm, Kathleen Kennedy, will reveal that the Star Wars live-action t.v. show plans are official cancelled.

#01 Danz Borin
#02 Mosep
#03 Death Star Gunner (leathery suit look, not the cloth jump suit)
#04 General Willard (the ANH rebel generals get no love)
#05 Solomahal (Or whoever, one of the Lutrillians....make it so you can make both by removing the ascot)
#06 Baniss Keeg
#07 Tzivvzt
#08 Arleil Schous
#09 Reegesk (Ranat)
#10 Del Goren (The Yavin Base Rebel Guy with the headset.)

I'd probably not buy any of those if they made them, because I'll never see them.   :(  :'(  >:(

Of course, you know you'll never find the Ewok set. There will be a ton of pilots however.

They'll do the Yavin Rebel Transporter/Geonosian Speeder  packing ratio. What was that, 1 transporter per 15 Geonosian speeders?

*Slight exagerration*
