Did we ever figure out if Jawa/Logray was a HK/Jap variation?

I pulled a VC Jawa from a box from hlj.com.  I would guees hlj would get their boxes from a Japanese distributor, and I believe Padawan pulled a Logray from Spanky's.  I'm not sure where Spanky gets his distrubution from but it is a Japanese site.  I think that the Logray/Jawa chases may have been evenly distributed between HK/JP.  We could have seen more Jawas than Lograys because people were more willing to sell a variant (VC Jawa) and a unique figure (Logray).  At least thats what I think.

Oh man, another chase. Its awesome, but its going to hurt when we have to pay for them. I wish i could afford the master case.

Yeah I saw that they were bought by undsputed.  I believe he is new to collecting kubricks but he sure has deeeeeeep pockets.  He could have just bought a master case with what he paid for the stormtrooper chases and 1 case.

Gah :o  $99.99 each plus shipping.  Lordy, I do hope they come down from that.

Alternately I hope at least one chase shows up in my box.  I'm way overdue.

I wonder if they're 4:48; I don't believe they could stay at $100.  At least thats what I'm hoping for.

I think we're thinking they are packed like the white pauldron sandtrooper and Hibernation sickness Han was.  That would be the 3:48 or 4:48 ration, which should result in a price decrease from $100.  As has been said earlier, probably not to the point of $10 or so, but down to $40 ish, maybe less.  I could live with those prices as VAder's going to be a bitch anyway.

dun think they're 4/48 cause one of the guys from KW bought a case of 12 and didnt get any chases pieces.. unless his box was tampered with...

If he bought a box of 12, thats leaves 3 boxes in the Master Case that may contain the chases.

Exactly my luck on the first three series'.  No chase, three boxes.  In fact aren't two out of three boxes no chase boxes?  One will contain the Vader, another will contain the stormtroopers and then the other two are normal?

Just looked up what happened with my Master Case's when I got them.

Series 2 Master Case.

Box 1: Indy.
Box 2: 4 White Sandtroopers.
Box 3: 4 Orange Sandtroopers.
Box 4:  4 Orange Sandtroopers.
All contained the Cantina Member with the stand.

Series 3 Master Case:

Box 1: Carb Han, Jawa.
Box 2: Carb Han, Jawa.
Box 3: 4 Hybernation Sickness Han's.
Box 4: Carb Han, VC Jawa.
No Logray.

So yes, 2 boxes will be normal.
