Toy Reviews / Star Destroyer Wave - :(
« on: April 1, 2004, 12:43 PM »
Today I picked up the Star Destroyer wave at Wal-Mart

Admiral Ozzel
Admiral Ozzel is sickly looking. I do not really care for the head sculpt at all.

Articulation is more than the standard.
The Sculpting on the outfit is nicely done but I do not like the thin sickly head.

Bossk
This could of been a great figure.  Bossk seems to be underweight. I like the first POTF2 version better. Though this version has more articulation.

Dengar
The best figure of the wave in my opinion. Nice details and sculpting job. Lots of color. I like this figure.

Well, this wave is out and in my opinion not one of the better waves of 2004.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Anyone See This?
« on: March 30, 2004, 07:30 PM »
I watched about five minutes of this show.  :o
I swear some of it was nothing short of a porn-o. A bit too far for little Britney. She is a ****!  :)

I could not believe some of the things she had on stage. Little kids were watching for crying out loud. No wonder America is corrupt. It is things like this that get embedded into people's minds.

Overall though I can say the stage design was outstanding but the show was a bit to adult. I guess that is why it was on cable. I guess I cannot really complain too much. I just do not like Britney.

If you put Homer's helmet on and move his arms out in front a bit he will stand just fine. The falling over is kind of crappy. But nothing is perfect. Have to expect some slacking since the line is ending. :(

Nice image. I was wondering what it would look like. Yep I will be picking this set up. Looks great.

The other figs in the pack will go into my trade list.

For a kids movie I bet it is great. I cannot say anything bad about the movie since I have not seen it yet.

I do know that Frank D. (NiubNiub) did some post production work on this movie. So congrats to Frank on this step into his career and movie future. What is next... only something cool.

Conventions / Re: After Wizard LA, u going to Philly or Chicago?
« on: March 23, 2004, 06:16 PM »
I usually go to the one in Chicago. But I do not think I will be going this year. The only reason I would go is to get the Clone Pilot bust which I know will sell out before I could get there on the weekend. So unless plans change I do not think I will be attending.

I have heard that this bust is going for as high as $400.00!!  :o

I am thinking of dropping out of this line. It is to frustrating.

WOW! It now seems this wave is all over the place; Wal-Mart, Meijers, K-Mart, and Target stores. Have not seen them at TRU yet.

The poster is a fake. You can see the (poorly) photoshoped edits.

« on: March 20, 2004, 08:35 PM »
These are much like the D&D minis that are out there.
I know from a friend who collects the D&D minis like crazy who says if you purchase a case you are about 95% to acquire a complete set, maybe minus one or two rares. That is if you want to shell out that much money at once. I think it is 20 booster packs per case? You also have to purchase the starter set that includes only figures unique to that set.

I am not sure if this is true with the Star Wars minis or not.

Depending on what my friend gets when he orders a case will help me decided if I want to get into this. Neat as they are, it is alot of money.

Well it looks like I will not be getting this bust to add to my collection.  >:(

I would of though after the Blue Clone fiasco they would have learned and produced more for the shows.

I know it is a long shot but I  hope that the starwarsshop acquires some.

For a last Bday gift I got the new 20th Anniversary O-Prime in the mail from my Aunt in New York. This is one cool Transformer. I am not into the new Transformers line but I was into the original line long ago. This Prime brings back many memories. A nice piece. I recomend picking it up.

Only if my brothers and I still had those old Transformers...
