Wow, I just read this whole thread from the very beginning.  Fun trip back in time.  It was interesting how soon after the release of the first set the buzz about the Huges and the AT-AT began.  It was also interesting how quickly the thread evolved from excitement about the assortments, dismissal of the game, fears about insane aftermarket prices, and impossible to find chases and trying to complete sets in the shortest amount of time for the least amount of money.  I can see many collectors were turned right off after Universe with the 6 Booster cases and all Faction sets.  For what it is worth the sets are now only 40 pieces and you will get 36/40 from one case, with only 4 VR's missing.

Many people were only interested in OT minis and wanted to steer clear of the EU and PT ones.  Well, for any collectors that were waiting for rock bottom prices here is a check list of what to look for.

I've got a bit of soft spot for 12" Stormies.  I have 4 Marmit and 3 Medicom, so I was really looking forward to getting my hands on the Sideshow version since they very first announced it.  I think I'm going to stop with the one.  I've read all the easy ways to tweak it to improve the apparent flaws, maybe one day I'll bother to do a few.  At least it doesn't have the characteristic Sideshow monkey arms.

We are finally getting close to where I want this to be.

I always thought a better title would have been Fugly Betty.
