Yeah - I would be down for the above 4 figures.

that serioulsy isn't supposed to be Veers is it?  Rs.com is saying it is on their main page; however, Jedinews is just that it is a commander.  If that is supposed to be Veers then that head sculpt looks way off to me.

I am gonna go with what Jedinews is reporting on him for now...

Kinda meh on the Bespin Luke since we just got him in VTAC- there is definite improvement there, the head sculpt is wow!   looks like he doesn't have bj ankles
Leia's likeness looks great!  Looks like no bj ankles though.
Dengar is SA all around though I am nto sure I am liking the head sculpt - think I like the Saga one better - might have to do a swap.
At-At commander looks ok.  looks like the imp officer from the Legacy line with new armor slapped on and a new head.  not certain if I am liking the way the armor is riding on him - but it could just be this pic.

Nabbed the 3 new comic packs at WM last night - very happy I didn't have to hunt long at all after initial reports of them being found.  Thankfully, the paint apps are much improved over the last wave.  I didn't think about it until I was on my way home to look at all the wave 2 packs again to see if any of them that were repacked and had better paint apps.

yeah, on the RS main page it says someone that was at the UK TF reported that:

The card game/figure stand concept was on display, but no new figures were shown, except for what looks like an updated new General Veers...thought to be included with the BAT-AT.

so isn't the above pic just another example of how easy it is to photoshop ths stuff?

edit:  the new pics from toy fair are making me believe a little more now.   :P

double edit:  so the snow speeder looks to have a tow on it to trip up the AT-AT - further confirmation...   ;D

Not that I am complaining - I am programmed by now to accept it, but Hasbro knows how to collect from their collectors.

Buy 5 figures + $6.99 shipping to get one exclusive figure
or
buy 1 role play toy and get 3 random figures shipped to your house for free  **edit:  just realized this is where Hasbro is probably dumping all the Saese and Plo's that were pulled.  I would expect 2 out of the 3 you get to be them - and then H may sneak in a Yarna for kicks    :P

cool - I will be filling out my form today!

seeing this thread made me click on the toyrocket.com link to see if they got their **** together and opened a new site.  Now "toyrocket.com" redirects you to puzzlezoo.com

The site looks the same and has basically the same layout as the old - only difference I can tell at a quick glance is there is a new purple background and icon for the company.

The decent news - they have the ESB and the EU wave on preorder.  each figure looks to cost $9.99

I won't beat a dead horse here - but if anyone is willing to give them a whirl I would just like to tell them upfront - buyer beware.

Feedback / Re: Ryan's (pka Sith Lord Chaos) feedback

Just completed my 2nd massive transaction of figures and vehicles from Ryan.  He was a most excellent person to work with.  All of the figures and vehicles that I purchased from him for my son were perfect.  Thanks a lot Ryan, I would gladly do business with you again in the future!

Thanks,
Justin

I am also surprised that the RHINO hasn't been marked down yet.  I am guessing they won't be marking it down now until the Pit is on its way out - which I am also surprised that it isn't going going gone..

If anyone didn't garb the Pit yet at a low price I did see that the Meijer by me had some for $50.  From everything I have heard about the Pit I am still not ready to jump on at that price - unless someone here can talk me into it.  I went on Amazon the other day and read all the reviews from parents giving it to their kids - it was a humorous read.  I think there were like 15 reviews and something like 14 people gave it one star and only one person, an adult collector, gave it 5.

One guy said he wanted to send it to the CEO of Hasbro see he can watch him put it together.   ;D

The Vintage Collection / Re: Hasbro Q&A Sessions

agreed.  While I do feel for the MOC collectors wanting Wedge to add to their collection, since I am an opener I don't care.  I got my Wedge in the X-Wing pack, but since I am newer modern collector I don't have a Dr. Ezavan.  I could back track and get him - but I have a gut feeling a much better one is on the horizon.

So 7 of 10 figures I either want or am okay with, 2 I can tolerate and 1 that is an abomination. Again price is really going to determine it's value to me. I'll likely get the sets, but the amount of grumbling I do will be consistent with the price of it.

Aren't you used to that by now?  If you have been collecting for a while now (since 2006 for myself) then you should be used seeing that in every multipack/battlepack.

Personnaly I think Hasbro did a pretty decent job with this set overall.  The only true let down for me is the trooper you mention, "giraffee trooper".  But did I not expect that?  no.

I do agree with Jackoftradze though, I would have liked a blind Kota or a SA Brood.

edit:  oh yeah, I forgot Kazdan like Nicklab mentions below - he would have been an swesome choice!

pics up of both sets at RS.com - put me down for one of each set!
