I'm still not hopeful in spite of beating the Canucks today. What a complete gong show of a game on both ends. Blech.
Would love to see the Hawks push the Blues down since it's likely their pick we have from Buffalo.

8. LAK - 90pts, 36 ROW, 5 games left (COL, VAN, EDM, CGY, SJS)
9. WPG - 90pts, 32 ROW, 5 games left (VAN, MIN, STL, COL, CGY)
I'm afraid by virtue of not being in the Pacific division and having two patsies (EDM, ARI) to play all year, we'll be the odd team out. We get one "gimme" game (COL) while Calgary and LA have at least two each plus LA just played EDM last night.
Stoopid Central Division. Ah well, when we troll the Leafs, Coyotes and Oilers and end up with the 1st overall pick, it'll be pretty funny, but until then I'm gonna be kind of sad.

That Jets/Flames game on 4/11 would be an epic game to attend I think... I can only imagine what your building would be like with playoffs on the line for the victor of that game.
It will likely come down to that. The schedule makers are certainly liking the Pacific. Wait, the Pacific sucks, so if you play there, how hard can it really be? Arizona AND Edmonton? Gimme a break
Honestly, I'm not liking our chances. We really needed to win in Vancouver last week to help a bit more (and not give up a goal with thirty seconds left to Chicago). I haven't been worried about the Wild for some time, I've just counted them as in. It's the Flames/Kings that irritate/scare me. Now would be a really nifty time for regression to kick in on the Flames scoring. Like right freaking now.

Ok, now you've become delusional. Dubnyk is playing very, very well. But the wheels may fall off sooner than you'd like. It may not be until next year, but the Vezina and Hart trophies are year long trophies, not last third of the season stuff. Even still, I'd say Price is ahead in both.
I'm now watching us battle LA/Calgary for the last playoff spot. You guys are in, IMO. But I don't think anyone wants to play us if we make it.

I think that last wildcard comes down to us and the Flames, who oddly enough we host at home for the final game of the season for both teams. Could be a very exciting game.

I'm kinda hoping for an injury to a goalie right now
That would allow us to call up Hellebuyck from the AHL and he might be our only hope, to turn a phrase. Blech, our goaltending sucks goat balls.
