how does the chat room work? many people in it? Is it down right now, I can't seem to connect.   ::)

I'm in the chat now, so apparently it isnt down. I just left the chat window open with a blank page and it finally loaded.... Odd indeed.

Nobody is on it except me, right now.

The chat room is very fussy when it comes to your browser and software. Make sure you have the latest Java from the Sun Java Site (http://java.sun.com/getjava/). If you still can't get in, post and we will see what we can do about it. I am planning on getting a server contained chat room, it should fix this problem. Thanks

I've tried a few times during the last couple of weeks, but it's never worked for me and I have the latest of everything installed on my computer.

well i did get it to work. No one was there though. I look forward to a populat chat room that many people frequent, as it would be fun! :P

It seems to work on my end.  We'll have to see about organizing a group chat here at JD sometime soon.  At the very least, if you want to chat with someone in the forums a little quicker than via PMs, invite them into the chatroom and give it a test run...   :)

Well, that seemed to work just fine!  James and I had a nice half hour chat in there tonight - no problems...  Try it out folks, if you're looking to chat with your fellow forum members.  You can just bump this post up to let others know you're in there, if you'd like!   :)
