They could maybe pull off the alcoholism thing because he loses everything, etc.  They could have a certain passing of time from where he loses everything to when he pulls himself together (Six years later...).  But, I don't want this to be a quick resolution, too, because alcoholism is a serious issue.  I wonder if this Iron Man could be like Empire and Jedi... have it end badly and have the resolution in the following Marvel film (whether it's IM or Avengers).  That could work.

Continuing the "Song of Ice and Fire" series... Now on "A Feast for Crows."  Man, this one is the weakest one so far.  Not enough going on and the interesting characters are left out for the next installment.  I guess I find that I don't give a damn about the people on the Iron Islands.  Maybe that'll change once things get moving?

Well, if it's anything like the Death Star Trench set, I believe they sold it for $50 on Black Friday... that's probably what might happen in a month.

Edit: if things get more expensive, I might have to earn some extra cash at the sperm bank.

I don't know if they 'feel' pain, but they must have a fear of it.  But going back to ANH, where Chewie and the droids are playing holo-chess and Threepio says "Let the Wookiee win" statement for fear of getting his arm ripped out of his socket suggests that it's unpleasant, whether or not he would feel it.
