The only one I'd really care about is Tey How...

Yeah I do like seeing NEW stuff sold as exclusives...  That's a plus.  I'd dig that McQuarrie set a lot myself as I think it's the best way to offer concept figures.  The Stormie sold well but I think that's a bit of a fluke honestly.  I love the concept stuff but I think Vader and the like would sit on the pegs if it got shipped as heavily as other new figures do.

Me, too. Anything McQuarrie and I'm game!!

Hey, if they are willing to give us a flaming GG, maybe they’ll give us a smoldering Ewok carcass from ROTJ  ;D

LOL... with special burnt Ewok flesh scent... like those old Stinkor and Mossman figs from the Master of the Universe!!

Senate Pod! Senate Pod! Senate Pod! ;D

I've wanted one of those forever!

Thank God they left out Mas Amedda

I can't believe Hasbro didn't put all those extra peg warmers of Mas to good use and include him... Oh well, good for us!!

If we get #41 Shockies, I might be game for it. Might have to have make a Imperial Rehabilitation Center Landing Pad diorama then.

As for Palpy... ugh... perhaps we could make customs of drunk cantina patrons out of it.

The TRU I work at has considerable condensed their 3 3/4" section  :'(  ???
Hopefully that's just because we are low on figures at the moment and they are trying to cram as much other SW stuff to sell for Christmas.

Saga Collection '06 / Re: Battle of Hoth Wave

Must say that I like this wave a lot. A lot of cool characters. Looks like I might be buying the lot of these.

General Veers- looks pretty good, especially with the removable helmet and armor.

Major Bren Derlin - gotta have Cliff Clavin

AT-AT Driver - I love Imperial troops.

R2-D2 - if it's the chrome dome, I might consider it.

Snowtrooper - Might get some to custom into Comm. Bacara's squad.

General Rieekan - Yes!

Darth Vader - might get just for the removable helmet for a custom.

Power Droid - droids rock!

Sweet jobs on the clone and mace (so far). I'm envious. I really would love to get into customing...
You'll have to teach me some basics sometime!!

The Original Trilogy / Re: He died the same time as your father.
« on: October 31, 2005, 09:06 AM »
I've always looked at it like this, Obi-Wan Kenobi did die at about the same time as Anakin Skywalker. Losing Anakin to the Dark Side was a terrible thing, I'm sure a major part of Obi-Wan's spirit died with Anakin... certainly when news came about that the Jedi were all but whiped out...

Just the look on Obi-Wan's face at the end of ROTS tells me that he's just tired of the constant warring - I think he found it easier to run away from everything than perhaps Yoda did.

So I say, from a certain point of view, Obi-Wan died, along with his brother, and friend, Anakin.

I agree with this view of it... Obi-wan did "die" and became "Ben" Kenobi the Hermit.

Isn't that typical of Topps? They give a general release date...

...just like the local DOT and their road closings.
