Dimetrodon, welcome back to JD.  I too live in the armpit of the armpit state   :P  Actually, I live in Rotterdam.  Never been into the SW Minis, but they look cool anyway.

I thought Jersey was the Armpit lol

Nah just kidding no comas here, just an attention grabber.

I haven't been around here in a long, long while. Surprisingly the site still looks very much the same.

I stopped collecting a few years ago, with the exception of the occasional figure. Clone Wars IG Assassin Droids clutter the pegs and looked cool, and that 3 pack with Mandalore in it was pretty slick a while back. Heh, the collector in me might run off and hide, but the child sure doesn't. I do still collect the SW Minis from Wizards of the Coast though. It's rough finding a play to play the game though. But that's ok I am going to make Famine learn it.

Speaking of Famine, or Kevin or whatever we know him as I've just recently moved upstate NY, and very close by to him. It's good to have a friend and familiar face after a big move. (Previously from North Jersey).

I'm no longer a collector, but I wish I stayed around more, and plan to do just that. I see a lot of familiar names, and wanna get back in on the community and reacquaint myself with everyone and vice versa. I feel like I have been gone for too long. So forgive the thread title hehe and HELLO EVERYONE!

Well now Justin, I'm going to have to figure out where I left off with the series. Chapter 12 or 13 maybe.

It's late but I was stopping by to check things out. I'm glad to see you around buddy.

It's been Ages for sure.

Gotta dig that Cade. Great job on him.

I just read issue 1 and am really excited about all this Legacy deal.

Gotta love the Marines. The fine detail is great and the cloth kama is very cool. I really like the dirtiness to it.

one question though. is the backpack upside down or is that how the Marines had them?  ???

I really like the Quinlan Vos a few pages ago, and that NJO Falcon is fantastic. It makes hasbro's plastic might look even better.

but the real fiend here is that Dash Rendar. He's always been a personal favorite for me, and I love your custom.

Excellent stuff!

Ennis. Is that your actual name, or are we a Punisher or Preacher fan?   ;)

Yes indeed it was a Spoiler. I don't really know the character well, just something I had around waiting to be modded.

As for the Hologram figures, What characters have been made anyway? I have no idea

And come to think of it I don't believe I have bought a SW figure since last year..
unless the Galactic Heroes count. hehe..

well for styrofoam pieces it depends.

most people spackle them up and leave them as is for a rough look, but yes, you can also sand them down for a smooth appearence. And then Paint them of course.

I ahve a lot of Styrofoam pieces that intend to do such with, to make Tatooine buildings.

one of these days....

anyway, I hope that helps a bit.

I stopped reading at  RE #13  and finally read all the way up to this point.

The Dathomir stories were excellent, and very well done. Probably some of the best photo work you've done.

And I like how the Aqualish helped Rykrof Escape, but I never would have guessed him getting iced that way. So it was a double surprise.

I like how you have Vallorum wandering around, it reminds me of the comci where he was speaking with Bail and Mon.

I was also wondering about this, but do you have a set time for when these all take place? I thought it would be cool if at the begining of a chapter there was a timeframe like one year into the war... or some such.

I really can't wait to see more, and am sorry that it took me so long to finally read these.

Thanks!

I don't have any of the hologram figures. I probably would paint them if I did have them though, they are out of scale to the minis, but it doesn't matter. still something fun to do.

Thanks!!

Here's one more I just did. I used a Heroclix figure and the hand from a Jedi Knight.

Force Adept Assassin

and because msot the older pictures don't work here they are.

Jedi Consular (I plan to repaint the figure)

Nikto Scoundrel Marksman

EMP Clone Trooper (SW Battlefront)

Jodo Kast (Decipher Card)

Aerial Clone Trooper Captain

Clone Trooper Captain (or ARC Captain, it's really all the same lately)

Bounty Hunter (originally a Republic Commando, made before the Game was out)

I start again, and you stop. It's a cycle.  ::)

I'm going out for Fathers Day, but I'll be sure to read 'em all later

More SW Minis Customs, hehe. I also notice msot old photos don't show up... Oh well..

I simply painted the whole squad black and gave them their blue visors, which only Fixer seemed to have originally had. And then sprayed them with some Testors Dull Cote

This was the best group shot I was able to get, but really they aren't anything too special. Just something to pass the time.

Republic Commados, Omega Squad (Triple Zero)

To see what they originally looked like check out this Set Gallery

They are about halfway down.
