This week's http://CreatureCantina.com update features the tale of how one of my drawings ended up with a real live Star Wars actor! I'm so proud...

I like the sketch Bill, one of my favorites actually... Droids Bossk still is superior in every way. :)
But I like you have him actually, sorta, seemingly like he's doing Jabba's books or some such. Fitting with tax season here and all.
That or he's in a chat room... maybe reading the latest threads here? :)

Taking roll for Jabba's Palace, perhaps? Cool drawing Bill, and a unique perspective there. Anything legible with his writing there, or no? I can't make it out...
Or is that in intergalactic Speak 'n' Spell that Squid's playing with?

I don't remember a photo of anyone in a fedora. Maybe Todd forgot to send that one to me.

The next one is Oola... a character I've been waiting to draw since I started this thing. The pencils are about 1/3 done. Hopefully I'll get the chance to work on it in the next week.

Another great piece of art, though I don't think I want Tessek to do my taxes. The dude can't even write in English! HAH! ;D

Yeah, and Bill, that drawing is really cool....
I bet Gerald Hume was excited to see it... he was a really interesting guy, and he's gotten really into meeting the fans and such- he loves it- you can tell... he kept asking questions of us and there was one question he says he's been trying to figure out- and kept messing up the question, which I don't want to mess up here, but was something along of the lines of : True of False, the first time Han saw Leia was in the detention center corridor? The answer per a book he has says false and he's trying to figure out why... someone said it has to do w/ an Eu book...
He was pretty cool...

Yeah, Gerald Home seems like a really nice guy. He sent me a long complimentary E-mail after reading the write-up of the con on my site on Wednesday. I'm going to post it next week. ;D

I'd hardly looked at your work before now, Bill, but I'm glad I took the time to check them all out....They're spectacular.
I definately see improvement and imaginatio as I go through them...keep up the good work..you're very talented.

Oh yeah... the first dozen or so I did were pretty bad compared to what I'm putting out now. I'm almost tempted to take them out of the gallery. ;)
What's really cool, though, is how prominent my art is when you do Google image searches. On the obscure characters... Maj. Derlin, ICMG (Willrow Hood), Tsavong Lah, Thall Joben... my stuff is sometimes the first image. What's amazing is that my Vader unmasked drawing is the #3 return when you search for "Vader." It makes me feel famous. ;D I like to think that there might be someone somewhere using my art as a reference for their own.
