Revenge of the Sith / Re: More Target Exclusives?

Speaking as a customizer, the packaging IS easier to pull a switch on sadly.  Hope nobody gets taken on a scam with these, that's BS...  Unfortunately it's the way of this hobby anymore.  Opportunists (scalpers, frauds, etc.) are always spiked during these movie years, but ROTS really seems to have a whole new breed of them, sadly.

My buddy got my sets in, yay!  Should be able to pick them up the night of E3's premiere too.  What a night that ought to be. :)

So is anyone finding figures at Wal-Mart?

People are saying they are finding them left and right...  Pilots, Battle of the Bulge figures, the new Pacific Theater Marines, Patton figures...  The works.

Also US and German halftracks, German Panzers, etc...

Where is this **** at?  I'd buy up a full set of Marines plus army builders if I saw them,a nd forget about BotB Germans and GI's...  I'd build a huge army of those!

Where is this stuff though?  Is Pittsburgh the only area being denied any XD stuff?  I'm pissed.  >:(

Two cases should've been offered.  White/Officer mix and an All White Trooper mix...  I'd take a case of those, and just wimper at the bill.  :)

I'm thinking ARC customs myself with those...  I'll whip up some ARC squads or other Commanders.

The Tat Stormie and E2 Clones are just gonna go into the field then as grunts. :)

I'd dig some Classic sets too...

-Han Solo...  I'd take Hoth, Bespin, and Han Endor in a set...

-Leia...  Easy enough with ANH, Hoth, and Endor...
-Luke...  Again, easy enough with ANH, Hoth, and Endor...  Run with a theme here.  One could replace either (or both) Luke/Han's early figure in with a Stormie version of them too.

-Imperial Troops...  ANH Stormtrooper, Snowtrooper, Scouttrooper...  I'd take that in a heartbeat!

-Rebels...  Rebel Fleet Trooper, Hoth Rebel, Endor Rebel.  I'd take that even quicker. :)

The thing I like about the Evolutions sets is the price.  To me, the $20 works out for 3 great figures in one set.  This is ideal army builder potential, and I hope that main characters are done of course, but it's every army builder's dream that these are pushed for the troops too since it really makes sense.  That Clone set is going to simply rock I do believe.  I've got 3 on pre-order, and will definitely buy many more if I find them easily enough on my hunts.

Hmmm, makes one wonder if they ran into you then Dior-Dala...  I saw lots of Padme's in the Naboo costumes with the makeup and all.  Very ornate ones, I was impressed.

Nobody's topped Admiral Ackbar running across the street in front of me and my gf at a stoplight on Sunday though.  She was dropping me off to run in and say bye to everyone I missed saying bye to before we made the trek home, and there went Ackbar...  She just started laughing hysterically while shaking her head, to which I exclaimed, "It's a trap!" and got a completely confused look in reply.   :-\  Guess you had to be there.

Threesomes?  Wait, what?  oh!

Yeah, I saw the saber on Friday (my greatest day ever, as I have come to call it), and I said to myself, "Jesse, you're not gonna be able to afford vintage at this show, so buy yourself a saber because man, you deserve it!", and with that I did.

Girlfriend just rolled her eyes when I got back to the hotel room, then I smacked her with the saber to display the "crash" effect.  Bwahahaha

Yeah, without a doubt the "by the case" route was best.  Unless you had a lotta scratch though, it was tough to really "army build" with these because buying cases just for yourself isn't a great option financially, plus all those officers you got that you didn't necessarilly want.

I really would've loved to have found a buddy who only wanted officers and tons of them.  :)  Gone in on a case then, that would've been just too perfect, heh.

I got one at C3.  The main difference, as the MR guy said, was that the NEW sabers take less batteries, have higher quality sounds, better electronics, and the blade lights up substantially brighter...

It's $20 more ($120) than the older sabers...  I bought an E3 Anakin saber (blue blade), and it is incredibly bright/vibrant, it has great sound, and for $20 more I think it was well worth the price ultimately...  Hell it takes less batteries, there's really no reason to get the older ones now I think.

I dig it...  cats and dog hate it.  :)

Holy ****...

Do I need to room with you guys at C4 to keep him in line or what?

The guy's out of control in every pic.  ::)

What's great is that Bob won't get stuck with ANY of those seats.

I ran by his place tonight to pick my ticket up off him (still owe him $5, I'm such a ******bag for not having change), and I can't wait to hang out with everyone for this.  A buffet, all the local guys I know (and then some), and VIP seats at the Loew's theater here....  That's just great.

Good thing Bob's got a good credit limit because he really did EVERYONE out ehre a favor that he knows (and all the people that he knows who they wanted to get tickets for).  Can't argue with that kinda dedication folks. :)

My E3 ticket's bought, and I'm gonna have no lines to wait in, a buffet, and all my local buds to hang out with.  And all thanks to Bob apparantly not defaulting. :)  Thanks man!

I prefer the word "pose", but...  uh...  OK, I don't make the "bee!  bee!"  laser sounds, but I do "pose" my figures some.  I mean, I got these tower things from a toy store the other day (like lookout towers) for cheap, and I had my VOTC Stormies set up in this really cool "checkpoint" scene that wasn't up but for a week...

Is that playing?  I guess...  in a way.  It sure was fun though!

Oh, and I got these great 4" Predator/Alien figures and I had them in this cool scene briefly where they were either takng skull trophies or the Aliens had cleared out a squad of Stormies.  Looked bitchin' really. :)
