It is fun so far. I give major points to any star wars property that gives speaking lines to OT aliens. Speaking parts for a wolfman, an Ish Tib is great. I'm even handing points for Neel and his famliy on this one.

I like the ship too. The interior seems mysterious. It feels like there is more to be discovered there.

Future HasLab maybe?  :D

I liked the third one, my friend was telling me the Dad is in a band he likes IRL but it didn’t register with me.

I keep wondering why they can’t just pull up their previous jump points from the hyperdrive computer. Shouldn’t they be able to figure out their starting point just from the log data?

I have to watch the 3rd one still, but like all of you I'm pleasantly surprised by this show.  I like that it seems to know what it is and isn't trying too hard and is sort of nailing that Goonies / Super8 / Kids-in-adult-sized-adventures thing pretty well.

So far this has been a fun ride, more reminiscent of Speilberg films than Lucas' Star Wars. It just happens to reside in a "galaxy far, far away". And I'm ok with that. I'm just looking for entertainment.

It's been some seriously fun viewing!  And my kid and I have been having a great time trying to figure things out.  We didn't see the wrinkle at the end of the episode coming.  But then the re-cap at the beginning of the episode laid out a bit of foreshadowing that made it come together a bit.

Yeah, I've got a couple of theories on some things we'll see happen in the next two episodes...

As soon as that wrinkle happened, I tried to figure out how that might affect our chances of a HasLab Onyx Cinder.   ;)

Relieved the quality has not dropped off and they seem primed to finish strong with just two episodes left and a lot to wrap up.

I’d like to see them all end up back on At-Attin where Jod takes over for old pirate guy as the new Supervisor. But that will require killing A LOT of pirates first lol.

Really enjoyed the finale tonight and thought they ended on a high note. I guess the ratings are not so hot but maybe that is just SW fatigue? Anyway, I liked it a lot overall. Curious if any of these characters will turn up in other media someday.

I really enjoyed the show as well.  Certainly not the greatest TV show ever made, but still a very fun watch over the past few weeks.

Maybe Wim grows up to be one of the ST era X-Wing pilots in the X-Wing Rogue Squadron movie. :P

I thought it was a really well done show.  I'm hoping that the numbers increase now that it's all out there and the people who like to binge series start giving it a watch.
This is the way.

I enjoyed the show overall - it actually felt rather refreshing and fun. It definitely added some new elements to the SW universe without horribly rewriting cannon. I’m glad they ended on a strong note as well with no cliffhangers and tying up many of the loose ends (e.g. Jod’s history, At Attin’s purpose, who/what the Commissioner was, etc.)

A couple other thoughts: I wonder how the influx of all those Old Republic Credits affected the galactic economy and the New Republic? The show clearly showed that Old Republic credits were highly valued in the New Republic era in the show, but that value would surely plummet with the influx of all those credits that had been hidden for decades on At Attin. There are many historical examples where nations that had a sudden influx of extra cash often met with declining currency values, inflation, and weakened economies… That happened with the Spanish Empire in the 1600s due to the influx of silver it got from its South America mines… But I’m thinking too hard there :P

However, it was awesome to see the B-Wing appear in (CGI) live action again after some 42 years and this time show off their heavy firepower 😎

The show was a lot of fun.  My kid and I were really looking forward to finally watching the finale last night.  And it didn't disappoint!  We were even saying we had never seen B-Wings like that since they had been in REBELS, and never in live action.  I was glad to see KB reach Kh'ymm in the call for the X-Wings.  And while I really enjoy Carson Teva in the other Disney+ series, I'm glad that his character didn't get shoe-horned into this show.

The kids in the cast were great, and the writing suited them really well.  And I think Jod was an interesting character.  He explained enough about himself without it sounding like he was "monologuing", and the Supervisor part was a bit of surprise.  Jod's character seemed somewhat inspired by Long John Silver from "Treasure Island", and perhaps you can't have a story about pirates that includes a kid without drawing that possible parallel - even in a galaxy far, far away.

That was solidly entertaining.  My daughter liked it too.

It didn't do a whole lot advancing a broader plot, or exploring interesting lore, but it was really fun and I would take that any day over The Acolyte or The Book of Boba Fett that barely made sense.
