The 5 POA figures continue to improve in quality. Amazing sculpts. Qi'ra looks like she just walked out of a mall in 1987. Hopefully we see the red cape Space Danyers version too. I suppose Luke is a good repack, since he sells so well. K2... I don't know. Might be ok. I'd rather see new figures from the new film at launch. If we're going to cover old ground, let's clean up some characters we missed.

Qi'ra and Chewbacca actually look pretty good, 5POA aside.  Glad to see them follow through with the TLJ version of Maz, although a ROTS or TSC style hologram figure might have been more scene appropriate.

TLJ Luke seems to be selling reasonably well.  I haven't seen that figure linger much.  And a Force Link version of K-2SO might be cool considering the potential voice samples.

Force link is nice, but honestly I'll be buying this one just for the blaster.   :-[

I like the new Chewie with his new (old) Bandolier and non-bowcaster rifle.  I wonder if this movie will give us the origin of the bowcaster for Chewie too?  :P

I didn't even see the blaster. Sigh. I suppose he could be just another random K2 droid. I already have a couple extras though.

100%.  She looks like your average hipster... nothing Star Wars-y about it.

I like the sort of American Graffiti aesthetic in some of the designs here - Han's Speeder, some of the looks - but this Qi'ra might be a little too plain. But, it's all cool. I just want to say, the movie might not be that good and could have done without it, but the toys are going to be fun (for the most part) and I'm geeking today like I haven't in a while.

You guys took the words right out of my mouth. Was there no money left in the budget for even a halfway imaginative wardrobe? I hope the character is more interesting than she looks.

Let the 3 months before the movie is released and we have any clue about the movie badmouthing begin.

That's why we "like" Star Wars right?

Qui Ra looks not too dissimilar but too much like the chick from Tosche Station whose name is slipping my mind right now.  Or compare her clothes to Aunt Beru.  I wouldn’t say she doesn’t look Star Wars for what the precedent is.

K2 was the best selling 5poa Rogue One figure as I recall outside of maybe the last difficult to get waves.  I know he didn’t linger, especially on sale, around me.  Luke I can get fairly easily but I also get why they’re packing him in.  Seeing some basics of the other main characters would’ve been cool though.  Maz I dunno.  A backpack and gun won’t get me to buy but the new Han Solo figures I may get them all.

I love that Chewbacca has rots style Wookiee bandoliers.  Not enough applaus for that nod to the prequels in his design.

My issue here is that of the 5 characters revealed for the Solo basic line, only 2 are new, and only 1 is a completely new character. For a movie opening line there's a lot of old here, which isn't likely to help out in the whole first wave usually gets over shipped department. Hoping there's a few more to be revealed at Toy fair to round out the wave and make it a bit more interesting. Seems to me like they should make wave 1 strong with all the heavy hitter characters so you can have the cast at film launch.

I know... I retain less of this than probably anyone here.  If it weren't for all you guys, and mostly Jeff and Jayson I wouldn't have any idea what the hell was going on in this hobby.
