One of the better waves. Cassian is impossible to get here still and getting a TVC card of him is fine by me since I liked RO so much. The Aphra figure, whoever she is, is pretty cool looking. She'll go into whatever random cantina display I can toss her into. Range Trooper rocks, and Luke was pretty impossible to get here barring a massive glut of them dumped suddenly (stranger things have happened fairly regularly).
Again hope they go heavy on the troopers.

I like this wave too. I'd guess they pack 2 of those troops per case, and hopefully later carry him forward once more?

Aphra will be the hardest to find from this wave. Not only does she have the comic fanboys after her, but the female fans as well.
I can't wait to get my hands on more Cassians though. Been wanting to get more to try and make a TFA Han custom.

Same here. I had no idea who she was and couldn’t believe a character like Sim Aloo couldn’t finish ahead of her. Either something was fishy with the online stuff, or more likely there are way more young people collecting who are into comics than I thought there were.

That's a tough bet to make. In the past the EU guys, and FC in particular, tend to do well. Can't think of one that hasn't really, even when they've been kinda ****** like that one Mara figure.

Aphra will be very popular. I don't think any of these will sit, actually. This is a solid wave where the repacks are highly desirable.

Aphra will do well. In fact I doubt we see much of her on the pegs. The EU fans love her. It is basically their updated Yak Face level of interest figure. They will be on that like exile Luke was drinking fresh green milk from an alien cow's nipple! ;D
But yes I am in in this wave excluding Aphra, but will pick her up for a trade if I find her.

I want a few of Aphra just for female custom fodder. Don't care about the character, but like the figure a lot.
This wave should do fine. Hopefully Cassian is just 1 per case.
I'd go with:

If we're supposed to expect some repacks (and if these two are slated to be repacked), I kind of want Ponda Baba and Dr Evazan released on RO cards. That would be pretty cool to have.

Seems Aphra is an OT era character, so I'll pick her up. And that range Trooper looks pretty cool...reminds me of the WY Commandos (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CbmeA7mUYAA9uCX.jpg) from Alien3.

It didn't bother me... at least it was very background characters and stuff. I'm ok with that. They get around. At least it wasn't like they had a run-in with Chewbacca like Yoda did, or whatever.

Seems the Expanded Universe moniker is toast. I do like the SW card for hard to categorize figures though.

Aphra is a pretty badass figure actually. My only gripe was the hat didn’t come off but still it’s a nice figure. I have no clue what her deal is but she’ll go well on the scoundrels and cantina folk shelf.

Yakface posted a photo this morning of Wave 3 found at a Texas Walmart and it shows 2 Range troopers and no Elite Guards. All other figures matched the above listing, so barring two different case packings the EE listing is in error.

Someone in my area posted on the NJ forum that they found TVC wave 3. It's surprising to see these two waves hitting back to back like this, but we've been in such a drought for a while that this is not unwelcome news.

Found wave 3 tonight and can confirm that the case that is getting to stores has 2 Range Troopers and no Elite Guards. Haven’t had a chance to open the trooper or Aphra to get any thoughts on it but the cards look cool

The Range Trooper is "Temporarily out of stock" you are still able to order them....it just may take a little longer.

I got tired of driving to all of the local Walmart stores, so I just placed orders last night for Han Solo, 3 x Tank Drivers and 3 x Range Troopers. I tacked on some other stuff to bring up the price and save on shipping. I'm curious to see how long it's going to take EE to fill the TVC orders.

I'll have to get these online and save myself the hassle, I guess. Target is the only store here that stocks TVC product, and Walmart has cut Star Wars space to 4 pegs and a bottom shelf, thus guaranteeing I will never see these

Just wanted to pop in and offer a big THANKS to all of you who have ordered with the JD EE referral links. Between the Wave 2 and 3 pre-orders for the troopers alone (range trooper, tank driver), we've earned nearly enough for two months of server fees!
So yes, EE charges $14 per figure, but know that you're basically tossing $1.40 at JD (and saving gas money) with each figure you order! ;) Thanks everyone!

It worked out well for me to just order this case from EE. Adding one Death Trooper completes me for Waves 2 and 3, and I get the case to store them in. Win win!

Range Troopers arrived today. Great sculpt and awesome detail. My only gripe is the rubbery weapons....it's almost like these are cosplay range troopers with the weapons! :D

Received wave 3 this week, strange to get it before Wave 2. Haven’t opened them yet, but they look like nice figures. I’m not an articulation snob by any means, but every time I get a new wave of these it makes me think about dropping a lot of the 5 POA stuff. It is probably those vintage card backs!

I saw so many wave 3 while I was in Ohio all weekend that it weirded me out... we’ve had steadily distributed wave 3 here too but every WM in Ohio had it in some quantity. I wish the tanker were an easier get but I have many now so I still can’t gripe and I’ve bought 3-4 at Walmart too to complement my online haul from EE.

We've only had sporadic sightings here in LA. Half of our WM don't carry TVC and the others order a new case every month. Luckily I managed to pick up everything I wanted on-line.

I just picked up a couple more of these guys, because they're pretty excellent, and remind me of the Weyland Yutani commandos from Alien3, bringing my total to three (I know, not super exciting). I'm actually thinking of picking up a few more to build a little squad, but I'm at a loss as to how many of these troops would be deployed. They don't seem to be an actual large force, but rather more of a special forces deal. Granted, it feels like every type of trooper is "MOAR AWESOMMEEE" than the last, according to Wookieepedia. Does anyone know the deal with these guys? How many were actually onscreen? It looked like 4 to me, but I'd have to go back and check Solo. Would these be deployed alongside regular troops, or are they stationed by themselves?

You see four on screen IIRC...but a squad would be about 9 in Army terms (Squad Leader and two fire teams).

Gotcha, so that must have been just one fire team on the surface of the train.
