Damn, there goes my kicker. :-\

Sorry.   :(  I was afraid you were going to take him this round.

I don't have mosnab's pick that I traded him, but I have malloc's 2 picks and mine ready to go after that.  I think mosnab will probably end up picking at 9 AM.

9AM Eastern time?

Gimme a minute or thereabouts....

Deion Branch, WR

Good pick! I was hoping he'd drop one more spot. I'll take a couple here to make my pick...

Yeah, but Jordan has been in the league for 4 years, played all but 2 games, and his career year, his best foot forward so far, has been 479 yards and 2 TDs.

LOL, I don't know if any of you guys have seen this Terrell Owens interview on ESPN, but it sounds like TO might not even play a game this year.  He hates everyone on that team, and doesn't even speak to them.

Sure, but he's been stuck backing up one of the best backs in the league over the last couple of decades in Curtis Martin in New York. He also averaged 5.2 yards per carry that year and has shown he can catch the ball out of the backfield. It's not like he's been touching the ball the 371 times Martin did last year.  Granted, I despise the Raiders, but he's got potential to really break out.

The teams do look pretty balanced at this point.

I don't think Jordan or Whitten are bad selections. Jordan should benefit from extra attention being paid to Moss and Porter, although you do have to wonder about how big of a role Crockett will play, especially at the goal line. Nonetheless, Scott has three legitimate starting RB's on his roster, which a good number of us won't be able to say when all is said and done.

Whitten has good numbers for a TE, and should give Kevin an edge at that position in most matchups.

Damn you, Damn you, Damn you.

I'm a Bucs homer and was hoping he'd last another round.

Yeah, I didn't figure I could wait much longer to snag him.  :)

Yeah, I was hoping to take Gonzalez - I hadn't seen the reaggrevation of the foot injury when I sent my picks to Rob.

I'll be surprised if San Diego doesn't give in and give Gates a long-term deal to end the holdout. It's a risk on my part, but one that could pay off nicely.

I'm back from my visit to Canada.  :D

Thanks for making my picks while I was gone, Zod!  ;D

I'm going to be out of town Monday and Tuesday. KBZ, since you are on the other side of the draft board from where I am, can I send a list of my potential picks to you tonight to keep this moving (assuming it is moving by then)?
