I just placed my order for a pair. It's a sharp looking trooper, and the flame effects are really well done.
It's kind of funny to look at this figure and then look back at the Incinerator Stormtrooper from the sub-line for The Force Unleashed (http://rebelscum.com/TLCTFUincinerators.asp) that came out back in 2009. Because there's actually some continuity from that TFU figure up through the trooper seen in The Mandalorian.

Like I mentioned in the Din Djarin thread, for some reason both the Incinerator Trooper and the Din Djarin/Child figure are labelled VC177 - wonder if they will fix it before release or if it'll have to be a running change. Guessing one of these is going to end up an error card so I'm tempted to not open either one right away.

Some interesting news about the delay in shipping for the Incinerator Trooper from The Vintage Collection group on Facebook. It might be attributable to a container ship that was bound for the U.S. hit trouble in a storm in the North Pacific near Hawaii. Per some news reports (https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2020/12/09/cargo-ship-that-lost-hundreds-containers-northwest-hawaii-docks-japan/) the ship lost over 1,000 shipping containers due to the rough seas, and it returned to Asia for repairs and cargo inspection.

The report said 1200+ containers were lost. I imagine it's going to take some time to safely unload the cargo and assess what made it back to port, what was damaged and what was lost. Who knows if those containers went over or not?

I found some video of the ship. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LejwJPosGDQ) OMG! The crew is lucky they didn't capsize if the waves were strong enough to do that. And updated reports indicate as many as 1800 containers were lost. That's a lot of consumer good that were on their way to the U.S., and not just some figures.

If the delays persist I may just grab the flamethrower from a FO Flametrooper and try to put it on one of my Force Unleashed Incinerator troopers as a stand-in for a Nevarro diorama. Because I have seen no signs of movement on this from Walmart.

I was going to put together a little squad of these, but thanks to Walmart's stupidity I guess I'll just be happy with the one I got from Hasbro PR.

If it is - here's hoping that Hasbro will offer the item up to the fan channel - like Jeff, I wanted a squad of these - I had four orders of two figures each (cause that's what they limited you to).
If EE or BBTS had these available for order right now, I'd gladly order a case of 8 from them.

If most of them are at the bottom of the Pacific, it either might be awhile, or if Hasbro doesn't make a bunch more, these two figures might end up being exceptionally rare.

I ordered one at $32.50. And then I called Walmart's customer service. If you go this route make sure you have both order numbers handy. First I referenced today's order. And then I gave them the order number from September, specifically noting that one of them had just been cancelled yesterday. At that point I communicated that "I was confused" about why one that I had ordered in September with a price of $12.99 was cancelled yesterday, but today the same item is listed at $32.50 and with next day delivery.
I kept it polite and business like even though I am angry about this. Treat customer service like people and I've found that they might be more inclined to help you. The rep I deal with had to escalate this to their manager in light of the price difference. But it worked. My order from today is still in place and I'm now expecting a refund for the difference.

It's like someone updated the listing with the actual cost of the shipping container these are coming in versus the retail cost of the individual figures.

The $32.50 is a joke, buy if they just say screw it, the fish get the stock of these and we're done producing it. I bet eBay will sell you the bubble for $32.50.
I believe the five carded Vintage Collection figs I'm missing are Jocasta (I have her loose), Salacious Crumb, Mouse Droid, Zuckuss and 4 Lom misnamed.
I will never own them because I balked back then. Gambling 32.50/12.99 seems tempting so I don't have to think about 100/32.50 later.

I have never let this exclusive runaround stuff get to me, but this week's events have been ridiculous. I think I will be ignoring Online Exclusives from here on out. If I see them in store so be it, but the local WalMart is one of the little/outdated ones that doesn't get them, so their stuff will be dead to me.

Well - I bought a pair for $32.50 and then got them to price adjust it down to $12.99 - just to ensure that I would get the item.
I'm sure they're going to ship them to me in a mailer envelope so they'll arrive crushed to ****. But at least then all I'll have to do is buy a single MOMC one off ebay for $100 and be done with it.

I just got a shipping notice for one of the two in my original order. That’s better than nothing, but I really hope the other one ships and I get a chance to buy a few more later.

The one that I ordered early yesterday is out for delivery today. I am fully expecting it to come in a mailer pack because it's a single figure, and it's coming from the same Walmart fulfillment center in Pennsylvania that sent out 2 of the Carbonized TVC figures. Both of those came in their own mailer envelopes, and both had bent cardbacks and/or crushed blisters.
***EDIT - OMG, even though it shipped in a mailer envelope the cardback on my Incinerator Trooper was in great condition. I'm shocked!

The first of 2 went out yesterday and is expected tomorrow. The second was delayed, I thought, to spread the love to as many customers as possible.
After checking just now, in the details it states the 2nd shipped an hour or 2 ago. Wha??
I guess they decided to copy HasbroPulse's shipping process.

Utterly shocked that the two I ordered just before 5 am yesterday arrived today. This time in a box and in decent condition. I wonder if Walmart is reading the reviews of their shipping, or if I just got lucky?

The 2 I pre-ordered on a single purchase both arrived yesterday, one in a padded plastic envelope and the other in a decently sized box.
I think these last 4 packages (Incinerator Troopers and Mandalorian and Child) were the first delivered to me by Ontrac and so far I'm liking. All items got to me within 48 hours after leaving Walmart's warehouse 400 miles away; there was no damage to the packaging in transit, including the enveloped figure; and they were left in front of the door instead of part way up the flight of steps.

My preorder of 2 was cancelled for no reason. I found them listed at $32.50 the next day, so hopped on the Walmart Chat and they had me buy them at the higher price, then processed a refund for the difference. So only like an hour of extra hassle and charges to get back on track with what I originally ordered 3 months ago. Well done Walmart!

I love how you can preorder something in September and they fulfill others' orders from January before mine.
I asked why my order was still processing and the guy recommended I cancel my order and reorder it. I didn't see the logic in that. It's a high-demand item and out of stock. That wouldn't help me at all.

Well, I got an email today that Walmart cancelled my remaining order. So, I'm out unless they somehow miraculously show up in stores around here or someone helps out.
I think we need to petition (first-world problems) Hasbro to forbid Walmart from ever having exclusives again. I think my cancel rate with them is over 50% and that's just pathetic.

Got an email from Wal-Mart today apologizing for the cancelled order. They provided a $10 gift card to compensate.
They also stated they would not be getting more of these.

Me too, although this has been such a mess for me I'm not going to rest until they show up on my doorstep.
I've still got one I overpaid for on eBay two weeks ago that is taking a tour of all the USPS distribution hubs in the upper midwest.
The WalMart one is shipping via FedEx, so hopefully it actually arrives and isn't handed off to USPS for local delivery.

Well, my orders are currently in Champaign, IL and the game was one of the worst I've seen so it ended up being a Bowl Sunday.

Submitted four orders of 2x each over this past weekend in the anticipation that WalMart would likely cancel some "just because". Anyway, all four orders have shipped and the first two arrived this afternoon - no padding inside the box, but at least the figures were put into a box (instead of a packing envelope)
Glad I'll be able to put together a squad of 8 of these guys after all...
