That thing is friggin' sweet. What parts are those from? I don't recognize that head, or the cloak parts.

Thanks. The head is a GI Joe Croc Master repainted, the cloak is from EU Luke Skywalker, the body is a Darth Maul, the V-type chest piece is from a Xyber 9 figure.

Nice work! Being able to sneak in a piece from another line (crocmaster head from GIJoe) without me realizing it - I salute you, sir. Normally Joe heads don't look right on SW stuff, but that is just wicked-evil looking! Great choice of that and accessories, and expertly assembled, too. Where did that base come from?

WOW!
Awesome! Very imaginative. I love it.
And the best part - I have all of those pieces in my custom fodder drawer!!!!
I may just rip off this idea (only problem is I can't paint to save my life...)
What is the emblem on top of the V piece, though? That's not from Xyber 9!

Thanks. That is a repainted Sidious Unleashed base.

Thank you. The paint is pretty simple on this guy, except for the head. The sigil/symbol is from A Conan the Barbarian belt buckle. When my son is done with his toys I go through them and grab anything that I might be able to use, this is one of them. Also, the belt pouch was lifted from a Spawn figure's belt.

This is a really nice custom. Reminiscent of Malak, yet different enough to stand on it's own.
Love the choice of pieces, psyclonetrooper! The paint app is great and the little touches like the custom saber hilt and buckle are great!
Like Quazar, I plan on making one of these as well. Top notch work!

Great custom and I'm glad you showed it here. It totally reminds me of Malak, I bought that Croc Master figure a few months back specifinally to make a Malak custom someday.
I do prefer your design over the Malak design though! Excellent execution. A bit of dry brushing might make it look even more real.

Thanks guys. It does have a Malak feel to it because of the face plate and bald head. I too was going to do a Malak but saw this head and figured I'd just go with something a little different but similar. I like doing stuff that's character accurate but really like making stuff up as well. As I see from your work CHEWIE you like that too.
On the painting... you're right CHEWIE, I spent most of my time on the head and not too much on the body. I think I will revisit that at some point.

Another thing I like about this is the large lightsaber handle. For some reason that strikes me as being very cool and gives him even more character.

When I first saw the hilt in the package I thought I'd have to cut a section out to make it smaller. When I put it in his hand to eye it up I thought it looked good the way it was and left it.

Very impressive custom. Malik is the first thing i thought of also.
Live the head, like the outfit. Great stuff.

I like this. Sortaf reminds me of Darth Malak from KOTOR.

Yes,its an excellent figure, very appropriate, not to gordy..has that nice morbid feel and retaining the Dark Warrior look...unlike a lot of comic book Sith, who come out looking like deranged throwback punk rockstars or drug addicts.

great work and great use of other figures and the paint job is excellent.
